I just wondered if there was a link between the two words that anybody knows of, given that we now know Evanuris to basically be the Elvhen "gods" and there is a place in the Exalted Plains called Enavuris.

Does anybody know the translation and if the two could be related?

I think the exalted plains were an important place for the Ancient Elves. More important than we may realise. There's the grove which holds the shrine to Fen'harel and the dragon. Upon entering Solas remarked he liked it here as it was quite and felt peaceful. There's also the countless ruins there, but also I found it interesting to find one of the copper "crossroads" rounded trees in one of the last placed your clear of undead.

To me the different spellings suggest that this was done entirely in error, an oversight possibly going unnoticed for so long in development that it didn't prove feasible to change before the games release?

Possibly, but is it the type of ladies you want the attention of? You'll likely get broodmothers.

I like a woman who knows what she wants.

Even if what she wants is to kill me.

Yea verily!

Babydaddy left her high and dry, though... just like when his Da took off for the surface. It's a vicious, self-perpetuating cycle of abandonment. Here's hoping Kieran never has kids.

It may well be two different words, however similar.   There are several instances of words that are: for example sulevin (certain) and suledin (endure).   So the Suledin Fortress would be the "enduring fortress" and the Sulevin blade would be the "certain blade" (always strikes true).

In elven Ena means to appear or emerge.   I called my elf Enavir, which literally translated as the "emerging path" but I took to mean "Pathfinder".   Can't find any reference to what vuris might mean but I suppose it is possible that something or someone appeared or emerged in this place.

Incidentally there was the huge hand in the Exalted Plains in the Ghilan'nain's Grove area which could possibly be the remnant of a huge statue that Elgar'nan had constructed to his glory so may be it is a reference to that.
