Also I would like a black space emporium to tweak features mid-game.

Face codes.
If they don't have them in MEA for some dumb reason, we riot.

Begging the question, should they trust such a sensitive procedure to a VI, or have an actual organic surgeon there at the ready?
Because some of those dialogue lines could be priceless.

If they have such a feature, I'd really prefer they keep it something simple like a mirror instead of a plastic surgery suite or something. In addition, have nobody ever talk about it or mention it.
Just to make it clear this is a gameplay feature and that's it. Your character is not literally getting a facial reconstruction in the story.

I'm not sure if there are tech challenges standing in the way of something like this, but I see now story challenges. Just give us our freedom to customize and be done with it.

Yep, we need face codes and the ability to change in-game as a gameplay feature only

Face codes won't happen if the CC is anything like in DA:I. There are so many variables, a face code would be 1000 characters or more.

Well I am still hoping for a way to save and share character appearances and if face codes are not possible then maybe B-Ware could do what Volition did with SR3 & SR4 and let us upload/download character appearances from the Mass Effect Keep or whatever feature they create to deal with save imports.

This is what stops me from replaying Inquisition as the same character, sure I can look at screen shots but I won't be able to get it exact, at least with sliders like in ME3 I could count how many spaces along each one was, so I would love an option to save an appearance.

If I make the perfect character in CC and play the game all the way through - but I want to use that same design for a new character, making different choices.... I'd really like to have a feature that allows us to save our previous characters' designs as presets.
Also I would like a black space emporium to tweak features mid-game.
Great idea. ![]()

Conceded. There are still ways to do it though. The Keep almost seems like it was made for this - when they first announced it, I thought it had the potential to be very much like the Saints Row community site, which lets players upload their custom characters for others to use in their own game.
Here's the thing though - all those grids that DAI's CC has? If they'd just given us visible coordinates, then it would have been tedious, but at least we could have shared faces perfectly. I honestly don't know what they were thinking, there. Hopefully they'll give us that, at least.

I think if an actual facecode is out of the question we should be able to dump the variables in a file of some sort. So if you want to save your character design, either as a preset or just to save it for future replays with that same face/look we could select an option in the CC like "Save to file" or something and then a file is created in the BioWare/Mass Effect Andromeda (or whatever) directory.
