Lol, as if Dual Protagonists are going to actually happen. They'll have to pay 6-8 VA so much money.

New PC.

I don't want DA: "You should have played a female Lavellan".

I don't want to be stuck with the same relationships and romances as the last game, or even more watered down relationships and romances as they try to shoehorn face time with 8 LIs from the last game into this one.

I don't want an awesome new setting in another part of the world to be a backdrop for an unconnected character hunting down an old NPC that is, again, mostly fan service for female Lavellans.

To be honest, i'm open for everything. If Inquisitior returns, then that's fine.

I voted dual though. Could be interesting.

I think dual protagonists would satisfy everyone, but it would be quite tricky to implement.

Yeah, i love Dragon age 4 as a copy from Witcher 3.

Originality would statisfy everyone.

Yes, because Solas joins the Inquisition and deceives everyone only if the Inquisitor is a female elf.

I do not care enough to warrant an entire game about it.

See, the more I think about dual, the more I want it. I want to beat down Solas with my stump.

Seriously though, lot of potential there.

Capcha won't work for me ><

Vote would be: New Protagonist / Inquisitor appears as cameo

I'd also like to see multiple protagonists, but I don't want the Inquisitor to be one of them.

Duel wont happen too much work and too many different outcomes of same situations. Their a division of EA now, theyr not suppoused to to make games everyone wants to play theur suppoused to make them look like it and make sure thye dont spend too much money while the price of next titile is probably going to be like 120 Euro and youll need to scan your retinals every time you start the game.

What I think I would change in cameo though is add a bit of control over old characters actions. IE the hawke i know woulnd give a **** to drag her ass across thedas to find some grey wardens, should have some selifsh benefit in it, even moeny would do just not the Thedas Needs ME crap.

I feel like the Inquisitor has a stronger connection to the story after Solas explained his plans, so I guess that he/she would be a better protagonist for the next game. On the other hand, I think that combat would be awkward considering the fact that the Inquisitor only has one arm now, because pretty much all of the available classes require both hands. They could have a crossbow replace the arm (like the one shown in the epilogue where the Inquisitor becomes a Red Jenny) but I feel like that would render the Inquisitor's class irrelevant.

I would be fine with a new protagonist, but as I said before I don't think that anyone else could be more determined to stop Solas than the Inquisitor. I'm still excited for the next game, regardless of who we play as.

In a world with magic, I doubt it is hard to come up with a excuse to have him/her have both arms again. I'm betting in an enchanted mechanical arm, like an automail from fullmetal alchemist.

And the inquisitor needs to be in the next game as the protag because of his connection to Solas. But I would be fine with a dual protag route, because new players could get in the story more easly with a new character, and would be good for players that don't want to play with the inquisitor anymore. Just make a diferent "origin" story for the inquisitor and the new protag so both can be set up in the new game, and have both stories converge just like in DA:O.

If dual means switching between protagonists, rather than choosing, I don't really see how it'd cost extra. It'd be the same number of hours of VA to record.

Well, I suppose they'd have to double up on the combat sounds and so forth, but I don't think that can be that much.

Inquisitor alone. I'm disappointed in that option being the least popular on the poll since it has the most story promise with what's already been set up by Trespasser. If Solas's conflict is going to be resolved offsreen, between games in a book or comic or if it's a minor side quest in DA4 like the mage/templar "war" was in DA:I then a new protagonist would be fine. If they plan to actually take care with this plotline and write an awesome game around it then the inquisitor is the only one I would want.

Lol Nelfa, Iam sure BW will find us a lovely new Hero featuring both hands, who youll love anyways. And i sure would like to see Inquisitor as a boss for new character, at least for a part of the game it would be cool to work for him.

I like the idea of dual protagonist, but not 50/50. I'd like the new protagonist to be the player character 90% of the time.

Dual kind of like April and Zoe in Dreamfall (I know some of you have to be old enough to remember that game series.  Original  - The Longest Journey - came out for the computer, Dreamfall was for the computer and original Xbox.  Sad funcom never really got their stuff together to finish it in a proper game.. but I digress).  I like the idea of that, but like in that game, you never really got enough of April for my liking, as much as I liked Zoe.  Or like in the Witcher 3, I didn't get enough Cirilla(Hawke) for my tastes.  I guess my concern is that it is hard to properly balance protagonists in such a way that you feel satisfied with the balance.  Especially with an established character like April and Zoe.  I wanted more April and never got her and felt like Dreamfall didn't do April justice.

I'd like dual protagonists, mainly to avoid an OOC cameo by my Inquisitor and get a say in how their conflict with Solas plays out.

How they handled Hawke was fine by me (he was a blood mage, but his constant rambling about how blood magic is bad could 've been acting), but I really don't want my Lavellan to go all "Solas, what you're doing is wrong!!!" when she actually wanted to join him. Some elves just want to see the world burn. I'm fine with her going along with all the Anti-Solas stuff if there's an option to betray them at the end. I don't care if the new protagonist will unavoidably kill the Inquisitor after that... in fact that could be quite awesome. Have your two protagonists work together throughout the game only to have them fight to the death in the final moments.

Duel could be interesting. Maybe the Inq as primary to start and end up in a secondary role by mid game.

If they do the dual protagonist, they need to introduce the Inquisitor in game, like they did with Hawke. Remember they are kinda hoping to get new players each game, not pray that their fickle fan base will pay for AAA production costs.

This, even with dual protags the main focus should still be on the new character

We don't know how much of the next game will actually be about Solas though.
