I don't understand why the Inquisitor had a glowing blue aura around them and then suddenly the woman spirit rose from the well with the same glowing blue aura. Who was she? Andraste? Mythal?

She goes into the Eluvian with you. It's possible, we will see more of her in the next game (if Eluvians play a part).

Somebody with exceptional eyesight and way too much time on their hands spotted the resource "flemeth_naked_water" or something like that while the Day 1 patch was installing, so my guess is that it was Mythal. It's an odd kind of parallel. You have a naked Divine Justinia/Andraste ascending as a being of light in the Fade, so it makes for nice bookends... and terrifying mental images.

Actually, it could just be that. Perhaps it followed them, and thus allowed Flemeth to find Morrigan.

This was confirmed to be dev oversight. They kinda forgot and then didn't think that the figure would be visible enough to notice.

At first I thought It was some ancient defence mechanism, but instead of attacking Cory it went through the mirror as if to escape.

The whole well of arrows thing is just confusing and I worry that it may have just been a lazily written plot device with no actual impact on anything. The water lady escaping would only make sense if it had a soul of some kind and was going to show up later. But I really don't think it/she will ever be referenced again. And why did we not just let Cory drink from the well? He would have been under Flemeth's control which would have been a far easier way to stop him. It would have also been an easier way for Solas to safely get his soul back.

And what were the benefits really? Being able to speak a bit of Elvish and getting a dragon? Cory already had a dragon.

So yeah I really hope I'm wrong and that the well is referenced again but I really don't think it will be.

My devout Andrastian warrior knows it was Andraste, again, saving him.  Also, data mining information from files on your system shouldn't be counted as evidence of anything.  They have admitted having erroneous information in there before.

Isn't Flemeth the one known as Andraste? "She was betrayed as i was betrayed. As the world was betrayed" Both were betrayed and so Mythal connected with her and they became one. "I knew the hearts of men before Mythal came to me. It is why she came to me." this suggests she knew that Maferath would betray her to the Imperium, and she made plans to avoid death. We've seen this before with Hawke and the amulet. "I have been carrying Mythal through the ages" When did the ages start? After Andraste rose up and defeated the Imperium. We know that the temple of Sacred Ashes was also a place of worship for Mythal, and Andraste's ashes was brought there. "I am but a shadow, lingering in the sun" Her describing what it was like to be burned by the Tevinter Imperium? Not sure. I like how cryptic she is while at the same time revealing small hints that could put together her story. Atleast i believe Flemeth and Andraste is the same person, now with Mythal connected to them aswell. Mythal and Andraste have similar stories, both were betrayed by great mages in different ages, but the same world.

A dev confirmed that the woman in the well was supposed to be an elf. The round ears were kept in because they thought the water filter would obstruct the player's view of the ears. So, lazy devs.

That's just misinformation to keeps us confused.  If they had really intended that, they would have fixed it in a patch by now.
