Their hair, whether facial or not just needs work in general. It's horrible.

Beards are serious business and definitely need to improve in the next game. I haven't been able to play a dwarf in DAI because the beards are so horrid looking, and playing a dwarf without a beard just feels wrong.

A proper warrior always has a beard.  I noticed a lack of beards in general when it came to NPCs in inquisition especially compared to the other DA games.  Now maybe it is because the game took place in Orlais more than half the time.

It's such a contrast between the quality of the skin texture and eyes in DAI that makes your character super-realistic to the cartoonish facial (and head) hair that looks like it was lifted from watercolor-based DA2. If the graphic artists were so good with the skin, why not the hair? There are already plenty of games out there in different genres making realistic hair that even shifts about in wind or with position. Not sure why not in DAI. Only reason I don't tend to put a beard on my dwarves.

 

And, yes, this is THE MOST IMPORTANT THING for DA4! Who needs more quickslots? Bah! Lemme grow me a real dwarf's beard!
