I was in a Threatening match. Zone 5, everyone's gone to the fade watching me take on all the enemies. I'm doing awesome, take out the demon commander and make my way through all of the other enemies until all that is left is 2 green ghost guys... who kill me...

Back when Nightmare was first released, I decided to play archer with a group of friends because I just got the hakkon bow. At the time (and now kinda) we were all very low promotes, nothing above 50, and we played badly, advancing too quickly on zone three fc templars. Everyone went down except me, and I proceeded to solo wave 3 with strategic hole falling downs. It's clear, I'm low on health and have no potions, so I run across the bridge. You know, the one where the dragon breathes on every now and then. Yeah. Run over.

I'm currently on 8 warning points. I hear once you get to 10-12 warnings you get permabanned. Best ask Kenny he is the undisputed king at getting banned ( to my knowledge he has had at least 4 accounts permabanned and those are just the accounts I know of!).

On topic my crowning achievments are:

- The Danny Glover build
- Introducing Thunderdomes to DAMP (and winning the first ever DAMP thunderdome)
- The various DAMP videos I have uploaded highlighting friends failing and comedy moments

There's no direct relationship between warning points and bans. They're a record-keeping system and a report is filled out each time (theoretically) but bans are handled on a case-by-case basis. You can get permabanned with 0 warning points, or have 10 warning points without even a temp ban.

 

For the record, I've never Donkey Kong'd a Bruh (at least, I don't think I have.)

Notice my original post was not malicious in any way but some guy comes along with a moronic response because he doesn't like me talking about football in a football related thread  . I responded to him directly then you and a couple of others decided to get involved and continued to post long after I stopped resulting in the thread getting locked...And yet you think I'm to blame? Bearing in mind the other two fantasy football threads getting locked which I had next to no involvement in, very odd.

There's no way you can take your preferred sport so seriously that you can't see the humor in them, even if they aren't from the PL or indicative of football/soccer in general.

 

 

 

 

It wasn't a football related thread.  It was a fantasy football thread.  If you want to get technical, you knew it was not in relation to football/soccer, but whatever, I didn't really care about the football/soccer posts.  They weren't for me, so I didn't pay attention to them.

 

My problem is you had to drag it into the second fantasy football thread.  Why?  Just to be a dick?

Its funny if it's not a sport you like but it's not ok if I respond in kind? Lol get off your high-horse. I fail to see the humour in a post that quoted mine simply to degrade another sport, it had no relevance to my original post and the guy even admitted posting it to troll and wind people up (yet you continue to ignore this). I will end by pointing out that other people had mentioned football way before I did and the responses were civil and humours until someone came in trying to cause offence.  What right do you think you have to tell me or anyone else what I should post? That's exactly what the other guy tried to do. You dont like what I say then ignore it, don't get butthurt and blame me when a thread gets locked.

Are you white knighting for all of football/soccer? It this really happening? Does the honor of soccer/football rely on you defending here on the DAIMP boards?

Sigh just as I thought, your deflecting and twisting my words instead admiting your being a hypocrit and wrong for jumping the gun, attacking me and then blaming me for getting a thread locked. It's hardly white-knighting when someone quotes one of my posts and I respond in kind but keep telling yourself otherwise...And lol at bringing the argument to this thread with a sly dig then pretend its not aimed at me. Well... since this thread is off-topic now I will leave my two cents... 

 

The gifs were obviously posted to get football/soccer fans riled up. Why else would you cherry pick only negative representations of the sport?

 

I'm an American who greatly prefers football over my country's version of the sport. I know, I know. How dare I!  I didn't find humor in the gifs because they were a blatant attempt at disrespecting the sport. Pretty much everyone knows diving happens in football, but every sport has negative aspects. Altbouli responded to bait that was already placed by someone else. It's not fair to single him out.

Hmm... guess my crowning moment was getting kicked out of bounds by the dragon. The team wiped soon after and I could do nothing but watch.
