So I think she being addressed as "sister" does not mean she's a relative, but a it's like addressing a priest with "father".

I see now. =D
Still, the random murder seemed strange.

Still, I certainly hope that there are other blood options than "none at all" and "hugely unrealistic amounts"...

You know, I'm suddenly reminded of Pyramus and Thisbe again (Roman Romeo & Juliet). No silly gory movie or game has ever made me laugh out as much as the description of Pyramus's demise.Isaantia wrote...
The books are filled with, somewhat comical, fountains of blood. It makes me wonder what David Gaider dreams about at night.

THIS IS CAKETOWN!
Have you guys ever played with cornify?
http://www.cornify.com/
Works best in FireFox!
But really when you poke people who are filled with blood with sharp things, the blood tends to come out. This game is filled with poking people & darkspawn with sharp things.

As far as I know there will be an option to switch it off - seems the guys at Bioware have - in contrast to others - understood that it would be stupid to lose customers over such an issue by saying "if you don't like it, don't buy it".jom55 wrote...
honestly i do not think there will be an option seeing as this game focuses a lot on blood lol

And either you or I have misunderstood the focus of this game - if one of the main points of the game is indeed blood then I might as well cancel my preorder. Having played all Bioware RPGs up to now I would be surprised if this were the case.

The legacy of the publicity campaign we were told not to worry about because it wasn't directed at us. ;-)

Actually, while so far I've defended all the blood and gore, I do recall being sort of put off by the scene where Leliana kills her brother and immediately rebounds to talk to the PC, everyone completely covered in gore, not bothered one bit by what they just witnessed.
Not even the blood, just the scene in general seemed sortof ridiculous.
NON SPOILER SECTION!
Damn you.
Tool.
