I feel that we need the ability to choose factions, because there are now 6 options and it seems like I spend a disproportionate number of matches facing the same faction, in the last 30 matches I have fought the qunari 15 times, venatori 6 times, darkspawn 8 times, and demons 1 time, if I expand that to the last 40 matches then I manage to increase darkspawn and qunari and add in 2 red Templar matches....

 

and out of the last 100 matches I managed to fight the 6th faction twice......

 

I feel this level of non choice is too much and that since all the factions are roughly balanced against some kits we need the ability to pick the faction before we go in so we can pick a kit that is decent against them !

  I'm standing up for the polls.   Such racism here (title)  A 7th faction purely killing "Polls" is uncalled for !

A would say that a faction selector removes some fun parts of the game. 

I like that there are easier factions as well as harder ones. Makes me feel good when I get a faction that match my upgrades and build.
It also makes me feel good when I finally get demons and the run feel like a soft breeze. 
But I do agree to that the harder factions should reward more money and exp.

If we had the possibility to choose faction I would guess everyone would select faction to complete their challenges and when that is done go all out demons.

Yes for faction selector but keep the random selection and reward players with bonus xp/gold (or reduce the xp/gold of the selected faction matches)..

I think that the players should have also the option to select a casual faction, which would also give bonus gold to the players as compared to choosing a specific faction.

 

I think there should also be bonus gold for selecting a casual map, rather than specifically choosing one, kind of like in Mass Effect 3 Mp.

 

The idea to have, for ex the qunari yield more gold than other factions is good as well

 

That way you could allow players to select specific factions, but at the same time, reward those who don't.

I don't want a faction selector to pick the easiest choice, I want to pick the hardest choice. Plus give random a 5 or 10% exp bonus. Win-win?

Factions: Need selection, while keeping the "random" option.

Maps: Have selection already, but needs a "random" option.

 

Preferably the "random" option should have an XP bonus like ME3MP. Just saying.

I have wanted it since I had to restart a match like 17 times to get a specific faction for videos.

 

Oh, and another thing that needs added: An option to choose the Destruction variant of the original maps. I want to play in the mushrooms more in the Elven Ruins with Luka! (That was another thing that caused countless match restarts when doing my Alchemist build guide)

Let people choose demons or RT or anyone else
Why do u want to forbid them choosing what they want?
You want random than create your own game and choose random
Host may choose what he wants

If it were possible to choose the faction you want to fight there would be an inflation in the faction challenges and a few other. 
It would also make it harder for people joining quick games to end up in a faction other than demons. 

I'm all up for more exp and gold for the harder factions. But I also like the uncertainty while the intro screen loads.

The Druffy faction is kind of an easter egg so they probably do not want that in full rotation.  It deviates a bit too much from the core game.  I do agree with the premise of a selector though.

so after yet another gruelling day of smashing out daimp I am seriously bored of fighting the qunari darkspawn and demons all of which I find 3 times more difficult than the others to complete mostly because I don't have all the gear some people do and the few so-so equipped kits I have are all pants against them.

 

oh and whats with the tweak to the qunari commander ????? the only saving grace of that horrible faction was the ease with which it died now its totally imba, all the mooks block, the shield guys use damage reflect when they charge you and drop you in one hit, it like the geth all over again I don't care about faction challenge they are now totally borked and I wouldn't want them at all, give me 100 rt matches to farm gold and buy boxes  who knows I might even get gear for other kits than the lame ass avar and the pretty useless katari
