My new melee build!

Yes I know what your all thinking *slow clap* 'how original'
But this ones different.
I want to see if it's gold viable to use a batarian gauntlet to deal the majority of my damage from my jugg. So in this build I'm using his hex shield to block incoming fire(as you do) and rely on his turret for shield regen, while using his siege pulse for damage.
build v1
build v2
At the moment, this is theory crafting because I'm at work but I do want to give it a go when I get home. So are there any improvements you'd make?

Any melee build that isn't maxed out or using strength enhancer or omni blade isn't good enough for me. With Juggs slow movement speed, plus slow melee with bat gauntlet, his melee DPS is very low, with no real good way to get shields back (turret is ok, but not great). Also shield only stops fire from one direction at a time, and he's so slow you won't always be able to be in a situation to benefit from it.
If you want to really have a laugh, use acolyte->siege pulse->bat gauntlet for some seriously hilarious hatesurfing. I'd mess around on silver doing that unless you have a shield boosting friend, it can be pretty frustrating otherwise on Gold.

Ok, that's not a melee build : this is a power damage build with a batglove for fun/decoration. Might actually be effective if you melee as little as possible.

Don't melee a Jugg, ever. Juggs make excellent weapons platforms and power damage units. But slow movement speed makes for a bad melee unit, regardless, you can do NOTHING to fix this (besides file hacking to give him an omni-bow, which would still suck), BatGlove on a Vanguard or GTFO.

How evil am I?
If a teammate is using a Batarian or a character with the BatGlove.. I really enjoy leaving them hitting air..specially if I am using the Black Widow....It's just really satisfying ...on the other hand when situations are reversed..I really don't care that much if someone wastes what I was going to punch
Also, I really enjoy taking away someone's grab...or at least taking some of their points on it.
Boo me all you want, you know you do it too.

Very valid your comment about immovability hindering a melee build, and I know it's not an ideal build to use a jugg and bat gauntlet but I find the regular force choke build just dull.
Do you think going for the wider hex shield would be beneficial?

I seriously hope OP is trolling. And slightly convinced of the fact as well with bigger hex-shield additions.

I think not using the bat gauntlet would be useful. His melee is specifically designed for him. Immobilize and kill the enemy while recharging shields in combination with hex shield helps him survive. If you stack melee damages he does do decent melee damage that way, and won't die nearly as much. I'm not recommending you do that though, because as you said it's not very fun, or the most effective way to use him. If you want to use the bat gauntlet, I'd suggest doing what I said earlier, so you can at least get some laughs out of it.
Any specific reason you want to make a melee build with him, instead of a weapons platform siege pulser?
EDIT: I'd also recommend a volus bat gauntlet build before a jugg melee build since they can shield regen easier and be invisible for the nut punches, and can actually do more melee damage.

No real reason really for the jugg to be a bat gauntlet melee build. It's just that as a tank, I won't play him very much, if at all. And weapons platforms are boring too but less so.
So to make him fun i thought I'd play an unorthodox build. What's your weapons build?

Yea done the volguard bat gauntlet build! Great build, funny and effective.

That is your problem then. You're thinking of him incorrectly. Don't look at shields and go OMG! TURTLETANK! Look at them and go "Oh my, I can take a hit, so lets see how hard I can hit back".
Try this: http://kalence.drupa...!34N51364!388BG
Lancer to prime FEs, Siege Pulse to detonate (And damage when Lancer is on cooldown/regen). Turret can prime FEs or emergency heals. Hex Shield is for blocking atlas rockets/devices/etc, not for blocking hallways! Heavy Melee is ONLY for emergency shield regen!
This build destroys on Gold, but the aggro and level of damage on Platinum can get a little problematic. I try to avoid playing Platinum with it, but I have scored 240k with it.
The Juggernaut is not a tank (that is the Warlord), it is a powerhouse.
Alternatively, a weapons build like http://kalence.drupa...!13N51384!38CAG
Of course, you can use whatever guns you like with that build.

I tried your weapons platform build, which worked great up until I was getting outnumbered and the spitfire and siege pulse were not killing them fast enough, at which point I had to resort to heavy melee drain shields build. And I went down more because I just couldn't tank that many bosses at I once. When in this situation, I had a catch 22, I had to move to stop relying on heavy melee, but I had to rely on heavy meleeto keep myself alive.

After a weekend of playing my bat gauntlet build, I found far better survivability and more fun in this build on gold. I only went down once a match.

In that case, take a Claymoar or something quick-killing as backup, or whatever weapons you prefer. The Spitfire was basically a placeholder.
And Marksmad, I hope you're not mocking me.

Build v2 is better but I would switch from Wraith to Crusader. Since the later doesn't need the smart choke, that's a free mod slot gained that you can use to put the shotgun omni-blade on. Your heavy melee will pass from 1640 to 2460 damage. A huge gain as you can see !

Kishock is the best gun for this. Would recommend over the BW for sure.
Best kits for the bat glove are the vanguards, the sentinel and melee krogans. None of these have much to worry about from snipers since the close distance quickly or end up using their god given melee animation.
Sentinel and krogan, you ask? When you equip the bat glove on these kits their respective shieldbash and backhand animations will decapitate enemies.
Regarding the OP, I would take a bat glove juggy over a regular one any day.

I was perfectly serious. Most of the standard BSN contempt for the Jugg comes from the perception that he's always played as a tank, and from the fact that few BSNers have seen a properly played powerhouse Jugg and what it can do.

The real problem is that all they see is dumbarse PUGgernauts, which gives it a bad name. Whether you build Weapons, Powers, or Hybrid, you have yourself a survivable damage dealer (Which is exactly what people say about TGIs and moving to gold and stuff, right?). A properly played Jugg is a learning curve, you can't just stroll around the map and hope an enemy enters Reegar range, you have to know your spawns, and hunt the little suckers and destroy them with every tool at your disposal. And when you fail to destroy them (Because, say, Platinum boss rush), you have about a dozen different ways to survive.
It pains me to see the lack of appreciation for Juggernauts, but what hurts me more is everytime I see a Puggernaut, I die a little inside. I am now very dead inside.
