I've had a few thoughts about it but that also stems from how fun I think it sometimes is to see how I imaging my character to be before the game's release and how I create them to be after the game's release. What remains is mostly in terms of which class they are and how they look in terms of hair and skin color, sometimes the name remains true as well. I like planning and creating the latter image in my head because I know appearance and name are the two things that I tend to take the longest time with.
Names - I went with famous authors, scientists and composers as naming choices in the Mass Effect trilogy so I may continue that tradition in Andromeda but I'm thinking of going with flower-themed names like I'm planning on doing in the next Dragon Age game. I'm awfully fond of the name Primrose but it may fit a fantasy setting more than a space opera setting. Clementine or Clem I like as well but I'm thinking of going with that for the first of my Fallout 4 characters and I tend to like different names for my individual protagonists.
Perhaps I'll settle for naming the character with an initial and Danger as a surname if it'll allow me otherwise I suppose I'll be going with Danger as a first name because I find that amusing, badass and an indication of the kind of people my character's parents may have been or my character themselves.
Appearance: I prefer to see a bit of the Character Creation like what options it has in terms of tattoos, freckles, scars and hair color before settling the finer details of my characters' appearance. So far I'm considering this in terms of basic appearance: a dark-skinned person of asian ethnicity, a person with albinism and a person with a Native American or Indian look. The first design I am also considering for the first of my male Pathfinder characters.
I also had a Saint Row character whose design I rather liked that I may use if the game allows it in terms of options: she had freckles, non-dark red hair and pale skin with flowery tattoos... and a high-pitch voice with a French accent but the last one would be a very surprising implementation. She was such an adorkable badass.![]()
Class: I tend to play whichever class allows me to make use of a sniper rifle as my first character's class so depending on how much they may change how the classes are, I'd say odds are high I'll be playing an Infiltrator sort of a character.
The only exception I could see to that would be if our class determines an origin for our characters which case I may change class to whichever allows me to have the most civilian-like or non-combative origin.
Your character is going to be a badass, Shechinah.
