I have no clue, until actual information is given about the game, and the backgrounds we get to choose. I do know, however, my character will be named after me (AJ), playing as a black male. I don't even know what class or if I'll even be paragon or renegade or playing it as I would if I were in the situation.
That's how I generally play it in my first run. Like you I've got no idea yet as it may depend also on what Shepard I'm playing at that time too. I'm leaning towards a female biotic but I won't lock any decisions down until I've got the game installed and am ready to go.
