Bear in mind that if you have Trespasser installed then Reavers and Templars each get their own unique piece of armor that is otherwise unavailable. Templars get the Bownammar Plate armor and Reavers get the Disciple's Armor. Champions get a sword called Brand, which has a 10% chance to cast Immolate on hit at 50% weapon damage. All of the items are obtained through the specialisation specific War Table missions. None of the items have schematics unfortunately and they are really more for roleplaying/customization purposes since they will become underpowered at higher levels.

Unfortunately not. The good news is that at least the armors are not race-restricted, plus there's also the Alchemical Rigging armor if you play as a Tempest and do the corresponding War Table mission (sorry, I couldn't find a picture of it).

 If you play on PC, you can use Cheat Engine to turn another crafted armor into one of the specialization armors. Or use a mod.  

 

And I absolutely love playing as a Reaver. Your health is always at risk, but you can heal yourself at the same time. Takes a bit of balancing. And the animations are a lot of fun.
