Exactly! My personal favorite is using Krogan running heavy melee to launch a Possessed Abom into a crowd of my teammates. Sometimes you get caught in the blast too, but that's just the cost of doing business.
Public Unknown Gold players, or PuGs, the mysterious combination of newbie and idiot you achieve when you dial in public unknown gold into the matchmaking system. Since platinum came out, shouldn't it have changed to PuPs?
I prefer pubs to the above myself.

A few more:
1.)You proceed to follow the player who already has their missile launcher out for a target wave and proceed to try to beat them to the punch and wind up shooting a missile at the now dead spawn
2.)You complain when the above happens
3.)When a competent jugg duo decide the situation is too hot to tank fall back you run in.
4.)You demand people revive you instead of gelling even when they are on the opposite side of the map
5.)You insist on biotic charging everything including that phantom that just swung her sword or freshly placed turret.
6.)You don't take time to clear the turret that just caused a pile up in a hall before attempting a revive.
7.)You only stick near a teammate when a splash attack is about to hit you

There's a reason when we had a Murphy's law of Mass Effect Multiplayer two of the first points were: despite what people seem to think vanguards and krogan are not invincible superheros and 2.)note to medics you can find the vanguard under the turret. The second one was eventually changed to note to medics if you need the revive challenge look for the turret pile up.

You don't know what Blood Rage is (no lie, I ran into a pug a while ago that ended up getting Blood Rage as the KroLord and no one in the lobby knew what was going on).
You play a level 20 Juggernaut on silver/bronze.
You bring a high-level Harrier TGI to bronze.
You think the Volus are the worst race to play as.
You get sync-killed every wave.
You equip the Revenant and the Crusader/AT-12 Raider on the N7 Fury.
You've never played above silver.
You refuse to kite sub-bosses and bosses when necessary.
You always use the Box of Shame on Firebase Rio.
You think that someone having high N7 always means that they're a really good player.
You think that someone having the BotB banner in the lobby always means that you'll extract on plat.
You play a level 20 character and get outscored by the level 1 that just dropped into the lobby.
You think promoting classes makes you a better player.
You only use the N7 Destroyer for the missile glitch.
You think that PPR is bad.

I have a real wife, and she plays ME3. Don't judge her, because she hates PUGs even more than you do, she's even soloed quite a few bronze games. She just refuses to carry PUGs on higher difficulties. I often have to mute my mic because she starts telling off the PUGs in MY games. (One of my friends and I had a good laugh about this one of the times it happened and I wasn't muted).

Charging headfirst into enemy spawns while spamming Shock Decoy, Shock Drone, and Disruptor Scorpion Pistol with Extended Magazine is too easy, plus whatever it was that they were doing.

I was going based on my personal experience with pugs, tbh. Wasn't calling anyone out specifically. Also, I don't really hate pugs, I just get annoyed when they're incompetent ones.

Enh, that's a matter for debate, imo. I've seen some very well-played Voluses (Voli?), though those were mostly Engineers and Adepts. VolSent and (imo) VolGuard aren't all that effective, but that's only a 50-50 split.

I prefer playing on silver too, but I've played quite a bit of plat and gold as well. I can understand people sticking to silver because they can't handle gold, but if you've been playing for a while and haven't given gold a try at least once, then I'd suggest giving it a shot ASAP if only to see if you can handle it.

Updated - up to 60 now, lol. Based on the above discussion, I agree that the entries for this thread should be difficulty agnostic, and as general as possible - so entries related to difficulties were left out, and entries referencing specific weapon types were generalized. I also paraphrased the volus one, as miniditka77 suggested.

I never said Voluses weren't effective. Good players can do well with any class. As a race though, I think they are less effective than any other race. Not having an Infiltrator or any Grenade class hurts them in this regard, BTW. There's not a single Volus with anything remotely OP about them. You can't say that about any other race.
I have top scored in a Gold game with a Volus Adept, but I have never seen another player top score with a Volus. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen another Volus score better than third.
