Anyone notice sigil glitches?

No increase to attack% under attributes and no decrease to my heal bonus.
The kicker is it reduced ALL my elemental resistances by 50% instead.
I unequipped the sigil and my stats are still down as if it's still equipped.
I guess they're going to be the same as the accessories (?)
Anyone else run into issues with sigils?
I can just reload from a previous save so not a problem but def annoying.

I hadn't tried them, but it was because I honestly couldn't see that any of the gains were worth the losses. Stinks if it is broken for you. Maybe try unequip the armor pieces, and maybe even equip game-generated armor first (no crafted ones), to be sure it resets your stats. If it does, then try reequip your armor? Hope it works for you.

I was playing around with armor sigils and I equipped the sigil of deathroot +10% attack/-50% heal bonus.
No increase to attack% under attributes and no decrease to my heal bonus.

You sure yo do not have a berserk masterwork? what you describe is what that particular masterwork does.

Hmmm,
I'm familiar with the masterwork, but what is the berserk masterwork?
It is crafted armor,
But I didn't notice the changes to stats until I equipped the the sigil.

Can anyone explain why you would want to use the Sigils? The benefits didn't seem sufficient to me to outweigh the negative effects. Have you tried using different armour? If you craft new armour it shouldn't be affected by a sigil in the old stuff. If that works then avoid the sigils from now on. Otherwise it looks like its bugged. How far back have you saved?

Normally there's such a big - with most of them that I wouldn't even bother.
But I've been finding some interesting sigils,
Like the deathroot sigil, for my 2h Templar with guard, the -impact of heal bonus doesn't really matter.
Likewise,
I found a sigil for +200% flanking damage! That's significant, was thinking about trying it on Cole...
I'm still looking for the sigil that -impacts barrier, for a warrior, barrier is irrelevant.
So it depends on the character.
But have you noticed all the new accessories????
They're just like sigils, gain one thing lose another, def a disturbing trend to see BW go down this road with not just sigils but now accessories.
I normally keep several saves going so it wasn't a problem to just load up a save from 15mins prior.

Sigils work like normal armor upgrades. Meaning you can just take them out of the armor if you don't like them. Switch the slot to empty and then switch areas. If I recall there is a bug that makes it so that you keep armor upgrade modifiers, even if you remove them from the armor you're wearing.
Two really good sigils are the Sigil of the Deepstalker (-50% attack, + 200% flanking Damage) and Sigil of the Great Bear (+100 mana, -50% mana regen rate).
I think bronto is good too, but I haven't done any testing on it.

Lots of the sigils are bugged. Some more so than others. The barrier one for instance seems to wipe out all the positive effects of the KE passives.
There's also the +100% guard -100% barrier one which I think is meant to make a no mage party more feasible. Don't put one of those on a fire mage anyway. With chaotic focus, every time you cast a fire spell the game dumps you to the main menu.

Hopefully before you use them though.
I've been looking for that +100 guard/-100 barrier for my warriors but now, not so much.

Re: Deathroot. It doesn't show in Skyhold. When I leave and go to any combat area, however, the increase to attack shows in attributes, and the decrease to heal bonus is VERY noticeable.

But that's good info,
I didn't realize the stat changes didn't show in Skyhold.

I've since reloaded and never installed a sigil again, or else I'd check stats outside Skyhold, still not sure why I took a hit to my elemental resistances.
But that's good info,

Well, you can always take the sigil off without losing it, so you can try again.

I hardly see them worth adding to your armor. I tried the Sigil of Lyrium 50%barrier/-50% health and my barrier seems like it depletes faster. It also lowers your health by 50%. That seems pretty pointless.
