Trespasser is the final DLC for Dragon Age: Inquisition. For 14.99$ you can experience the epilogue of Inquisition,
and say goodbye to all of your companions, advisers, and romances. Here are all my thoughts (free of story spoilers) on the DLC!

Great review, I agree it's one of the best if not the best DLC Bioware has ever done!

Glad you enjoyed it! It is such a good DLC! I can't remember the last time I loved a DLC this much. SO MANY FEELS, and THOUGHTS, and EMOTIONS.

It's called Citadel. :P

Two disagreements:
1 - 9/10 is rough, specially given how "big sites" already were rough on Trespasser, 10/10 would fit better, it deserves. It made a hater (me) love the game after all.
2 - Witch Hunt is not an epilogue/ending DLC for you? õ_o

Good review. My only quibble is at 3.35:

"This is the first epilogue DLC Bioware has ever done."

Witch Hunt was an epilogue DLC for DA:O, surely?

Haven't yet reached Trespasser, but Citadel was beautiful. That said, in my opinion almost all of Bioware's DLCs for DA2/3 and ME2/3 were great. Arrival and Omega were a bit iffy (especially Arrival), but I enjoyed the rest quite a bit.

Finally watched it. Very good job, man.

The "heyyyy there~" you opened the review with had me laughing, though! Something about the way you said it. I'm sorry! :P

Witch Hunt was  conclusion DLC, yes.  But not an Epilogue.

It is the same thing with Witch Hunter, it happens post game, it does not end the story of the PC, you talk to your former companion who left the party...
What is the difference?

I believe that it plays like origins.  That would explain why it's so good.

The similarities between Witch Hunt and Trespasser are striking.

You go in search of a former companion who left your party at the end of the base game. You find them. Exposition, prophecy and warnings. The End.

Witch Hunt no more stands alone than Trespasser does.

Witch Hunt is a Stand Alone DLC.  Which also means that you can play it WITHOUT EVER playing Origins or Awakening.  Can you do that with Trespasser?

True, both are meant as Epilogues to their respective games, But Witch Hunt was written as a Seperate Entity.  Trespasser is not.  You MUST play the Main game (Inquisition) to play Trespasser.

Uh... of course... right. Meaning play Witch Hunt without knowing Morrigan, the Warden, dog and why the hell you are after her? Ok then, if you say so. LOL
But I really need to stop talking to people who like/play Mass Effect.

I'm playing Mass Effect 2 RIGHT NOW and I am doing Legion "loyalty" mission. Before playing I thought there were some compeling content motivating you to play such hideous game (as in an action game) but no, there isn't. Well except for Miranda's ass that is. Choose to kill Samara, her daughter is the less completely useless character as of now (including ME1 charactes, and I'm about to start ME2 last mission). Still trying to find any barely interesting character but Bioware always repeats itself all over again since BG days so those archetypes get tiring...
Oh, and the more I play the more I'm convinced DAI is hideous because of ME, from singularities of the rift to maps design and the shallowness of side quests, I blame it on ME team "poisoning" DA team. Anyway... since people hate ME3, specially the ending I'm guessing if I find any redemption in such monstrosity it will be there. It is only logic right? If I hate what people love chances are I will love what people hate...
But don't now, it is all so shallow and poor. Oh the boring thief, being boring is a lot better than other characters too so from that whole bunch, ME and ME2, Liara, Miranda, asian thief and Morinth got some little interest from me, rest are among the worst NPCs I have seen in my life and this is including one liners from NES Final Fantasies.

I never said you SHOULD, only that you COULD.

And the "Biotic God" was the MOST interesting Non party member in the game.

Nekkid. Qunari. Butts.

I'm sorry I couldn't help myself :P

But seriously, I must finish watching this as soon as the real world allows. I promise to offer an actual opinion then :)

That's weird, because that's not what Trespasser is about.
