Leliana was dead in my DAO game, she still cam back in my DA2 and DAI games and, isn't a spirit or ghost so, I wouldn't put such past the Dev team again.
Michel de Chevin is our follower in DA 4

Yeah, but Leliana's resurrection raised a huge stink. I don't think they're in a hurry to repeat that trainwreck.
That said, I like Michel a lot more than I ever liked Leliana, so I'm not going to shout "No! Nay! Never!" too loudly. Or at all, for that matter, considering I don't really have a problem with resurrecting dead characters if it suits the story in the first place.
Back when the whole controversy over Leliana was at its peak, David Gaider posted a few guidelines about which characters will stay dead. By "few," I mean "one".
Characters the protagonist kills as a conscious decision that they know will result in the character's death stay dead.
And they have been really good about keeping true to that one rule, for whatever it's worth. If you execute Alistair, he stays dead. If you execute Anders, he stays dead. If you kill Zevran in the course of his personal quest, he may or may not come back, but that isn't really the writers' fault. They intended him to stay dead. It's just that the plot flags are a little messed up. But the intention with Zevran was always to respect player decision. You may notice something about these guys. It's rather obvious. They're all men. In the Dragon Age universe, men are allowed to be mortal. The sole female character we've had the opportunity to execute has been Duchess Florianne, and I'm not aware of anyone who wants her back, so odds are, she'll stay dead, too.
The writers have said repeatedly that characters who die as a consequence of other decisions, especially if you don't see the body, are fair game for resurrection. Or at least that's what they said about Leliana. I was warming up to launch into my favorite "immortal women/disposable men" rant (I really hate gender-based immortality, by the way), but then I remembered Anders. He's actually a good example of BioWare's Rule of Resurrection in action. If the player makes the conscious decision to kill him (and sees the dead body), he stays dead. If he dies as the result of the player's failure to fully upgrade Vigil Keep, rumors of his death were grossly exaggerated. The player never said "Kill Anders." They just didn't do all the fetch quests Dworkin needed to upgrade the keep.
Michel can die, but his death is definitely of the "No direct execution order; never saw the body" variety. Heck, Imshael never even said, "By the way, if you do elect to take my offer, I'm going to trot off and kill that chevalier, Michel. Choose wisely." Nope. Imshael pretty much says "Nice doing business with you. See ya later!"
That said, I'm having a hard time imagining what kind of relevance Michel might have in the next installment. We won't be in Orlais. Don't get me wrong! I like him and I certainly wouldn't mind if he were a follower in the next installment. I'm just avoiding any kind of optimism about it because that never goes well for me.

You know, those Keep tapestries could just as easily infer Imshael being a potential DA4 companion. Dragon Age has had two abominations, one good and one nutzoid, one good spirit-zombie, and one broken spirit that could be healed or become human as Companions. But we've never had a full on de-*ahem* Choice Spirit...yet

I don't dislike Michel, but the reason of why often I don't consider him on my companion wishlist is because I have to wonder what he could contribute to the story, take as sample two revived characters Anders and Leliana; Anders blew up the Chantry thus triggering the Mage-Templar war and what Leliana did? Say some things of Calpernia (who is an optional villain) and being an incompetent spymaster that had two different sets of spies under her nose, I don't think that's enough contribution to revive someone.
In conflict Humans- elves Chevalier will suit perfectly.

I can see it, I mean Alistair's death was an option in Origin and yet he is alive by default in Inquisition. I think it should depend entirely on the choices you make in your play through.

He has no relevance whatsoever to the lore. Michel de Chevin should not return.
