Well, looking on the bright side, if Sera was Anduril then she'd have even more reason to dislike Solas.   Don't see it myself and we really can't have everyone turning out to be a restored god.   Mind you it would make Solas look pretty silly if she was since that would mean another failure on his part and the prospect that she might not be the only one running around on the loose.

OK for one NO ONE say Solas being The Dread Wolf coming and it was a awesome surprise to just about everyone.  Sure everyone say Flemythal but no Wolfas so shut up

I can't see Sera being Andruil because of her romance preferences, and because of the story where Andruil tries to get get Fen'harel to service her in bed for a year...

 

And Solas does use 'our' people on occasion when speaking to an elven inquisitor.

This is so freaking interesting. I like these two sections the most.

 

When looking at the first it seems that maybe maybe not she actually understands him at the end there. So maybe she does understand some Elvan but doesn't want to say she does or admits she does.

 

Now the second part is obviously the most interesting once you look at it and read it.

 

Do you know where it is that triggers this Banter? If so that could help a lot as well. Because maybe theres something in the area that is causing her to shake. Maybe some ruins or something.

 

But him telling her " you are the furthest from what you meant to be" is really interesting. He could mean that maybe she isn't stepping up an doing more with Red Jenny or maybe he means that her memory has yet to return so she is nothing like her previous self.

 

Either way this is a really interesting theory.

I think the banter triggers anywhere randomly, though I might be wrong. I agree with your interpretation of " you are the furthest from what you meant to be". Most of these banters could be interpreted as Solas trying to see how much of "her old self" does she still have in her or how much memory has she regained. Perhaps he is trying to make her see her true nature all over again by acting as a mentor figure, or trying to steer her back to her "intended course". Maybe he deleted her memory since she was an "evil Evanuris" and is trying to get her on his side now that she's a blank state.

 

Or maybe the other people are correct, and he is just trying to recruit her network of elves, but the dialouge is so ominous and mystical that I'm almost absolutely sure the writers did this to intentionally hint that Sera is Andruil/Carrying Andruil ala Mythal or at the very least a very special elf.

Just as dwarves are tightly connected to the Titans (or were before they became "a severed arm") I believe the elves have a special connection to the fade and spirits in a similar manner. When it comes to Sera she pretty much detest magic and everything connected to the fade. She thinks it's scary. So if we buy in to the theory about the tight connection between elves and the fade (as has been hinted in game) she tries her hardest to stand as far apart from what's unique about elves, hence Solas comment (testing this connection).

In the Cole banter in this video, cole says how Sera gets the "Deja Vu" experience because where the veil is thin, she can tap into the fade's memories of the past, present and future.

Ok, your right I never played with cole before, thats a 100% proof Devs have some plans for her and theyr playing with us. Shes probaly related to one of these elven gods.

 

BTW, is there any way to get to **** solas as an elfe or does he always eventualy bail on you ?

Yeah and we had it two times by now. Pulling a third "Oh, look! Another of your companions/acquaintances is a god/avatar!" isn't really interesting or surprising anymore. If you overuse a twist you'll find youself beating a dead horse before long.

False, many people where very suspicious of who Solas was even before launch, even rumours that he was part of what happens at the conclave. This is also a discussion board, if you don't like people discussing things you don't like then leave.

For me, it would at least explain why she is so adept at using a bow. Without any formal combat training Sera can not only hold her own alongside the other companions but even has access to a unique specialization in the form of the Tempest - or as she likes to say "it comes out of a bottle." Being the avatar of an elven "god" known among her colleagues for her ability to hunt and even going crazy (according to the legends) would strike me as the kind of person who can shoot a bow (or use large knives) and become a Tempest rogue.
