I am running Mass effect 2 and everything is working fine accept that none of the character have eyelashes.  any one have a similar problem? or any idea on how to fix it?

Amd 965 phenom II X4
Ati radian 4890
8gb ram
Direct X up to date
Window 7 home 64bit

I've noticed a few times that my custom character has some eye issues whenever looking straight ahead with head tilted up or down. It's almost like the eye is coming through the eyelid. It's a minor glitch for me, but one that would be nice to have fixed in the future.

Can you post a screenshot?

It's likly a quick ATI CC settings fix. Like Support DTX Texture Formats / Alternate Pixel Center / Forced AA OR disable CAT A.I altogether. 

I believe the lashes would be transparency maps so if you don't see them I'm curious if you have problems with leaves on trees or grass as well as they would likely use the same transMap system. But that just a shot in the dark.

Im missing my eyelashes also..:/ Im darn ugly now.

I had the same problem when I imported a character from ME1, the problem went away when I created a new character in ME2.

For me the problem also occurred only when I imported an existing character from an ME1 save. I thought it was just the character import being screwy, so I chose a custom appearance, but all the character heads there were also missing the eyelashes.

I continued playing for a bit and eventually closed down the game and restarted it. This was enough to make the missing eyelashes reappear. So if you notice them missing you might want to save at the next opportunity you get and restart the game. Doing so fixed the issue for me.

Saving and qutting didnt work for me My Femshep looks quite peculiar without eyelashes. Anyone have a fix? Is it some random fault with ATI?



Miranda has eyelashes, but no one else. You should see how ugly Paraseni is without hers...

I have this problem too. It all started after imported a character from ME1.
After restarted my computer, eyelashes appeared. But then again disappeared. I can't begin to play, because I can't create femshep.
I use ATI.

For me
Eyelash disappeared when I imported a character from ME1 or loaded  saves with a unchanged character from ME1.
I did like this
1 Restarted PC
2 Created new character and copied a code into notepad
3 Imported a character from ME1 and inserted the new code
4 Restarted PC
and my femshep has eyelashes now

This just worked for me, odd though that it didn't work before. Thanks for posting the answer. Looks a lot better now.
