Hey all. I've loved NWN2 since it came out. I wanted to play it again, so I bought the complete edition (all expansions included). Everything in the game works perfectly up until the point where you re-visit Shandra's farm (Act I) after completing the Slaan/Lizardling quest. Describing the problem is perfectly simple: I arrive back at Shandra's farm to get her, and she is simply not there. At all. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling (including deleting the save files while uninstalling), running in compatibility mode for pretty much all Windows versions.
I'd welcome absolutely any and all help.
My specs are:
Windows 10 x64
AMD A4-5000 APU, quad core
Radeon 8330 HD (on-board graphics)
As I said, the game works absolutely perfectly up until that point, so I don't think it has anything to do with my specs. I've done absolutely everything I can think of. At this point, I'd even welcome a "you can't fix it" answer. I'd appreciate any and ALL input and help. Thanks!
Shandra is not at farm at second visit

does the cutscene start at all? Any gith hanging around, when you come out of the path to the farmyard?

It is the githyanki/burning house part. There's simply nothing there. The whole farm is 100% vacant. No cutscene, nothing.

[spoilers cont'd ]
that's bad ...
in the toolset, the burned barn/farmhouse area, Shandra has been placed behind the barn along with 7 gith. ( They aren't "scripthidden". ) Since they aren't even there if your PC walks around the barn it suggests that ... I was going to say the game doesn't have access to resources/NPC models correctly, but it's unlikely because the rest has been working good so far.
i just don't know,

Oh, one other thing. This is purchased from Good Old Games. I doubt that has anything to do with the problem because I've purchased games from them before, and never had a problem with them.

your party is loading into the *old* farm (in module #1200 instead of #1600)
now... I forget the sequence of things in the OC. Maybe you're not supposed to get there, after the Archives, through Highcliff itself. So if there's a quickroute to the farm from the Archives, try taking it if it's still available.

I don't believe it. I read the relevant part of a walkthrough. I can't believe I screwed up so badly. It looks like you're absolutely 100% right. I'd totally forgotten the sequence of events. I cannot thank you enough. Thanks so much for taking the time to help me out! I greatly appreciate it. Now I can go and re-live the game. Thanks a ton, man. I owe you big time!
