Is there any better armor than drakescale? I hope there is because using the same armor on every character is REALLY boring. Well every character but the virtuoso, no idea why he doesn't get it, every other class does, even the 2 newest ones...

He would probably think that it clashes with his mask. Too fabulous for the Drakescale.

I like that Drakescale makes it look like we all work for the Inquisition and aren't some random ass mercs.
Isn't that what the Inquisition soldier armors are for?

With the amount of armour rating those have, I don't believe they qualify as armour.

You want to lump yourself with these Inquisition Captains together?

The highest tier of Inquisition armour has max. armour rating: Inquisition Warmage Robes 162 / Inquisition Operative Armour 173 / Inquisition Captain's Plate 184

Well yes they have the highest armor rating but you also notice that they lack the bonus that say a character specific armors may have. So it then becomes a choice of whether or not you want a bigger armor rating, or that additional stat that the other armor has.

Captains plate: 184 armor rating + 6% melee defense = 190 armor rating
Drakescale = 196 armor rating

Wouldn't those 6% be based on 184? Would take it to 195.

Yeah, but these look better.
I'll be honest, I've never given a damn about rating. I used Inquisition armor on my AW up until I got Drakescale, and it never hurt me. Rule of Cool is how I fly.

How dare you be ok with my tastes
In my experience, our differing opinions require a duel to the death to determine who's right ![]()
.....but you know, Bela looks amazing in anything. She can't help it ![]()

I'm surprised that you can't change your armor cosmetically. With the amount of customization in single player it would make sense to be able to cosmetically change your appearance to lesser armors.

I would buy Plat and pay with that for this change. I think most of the starting armors look way better than the drakescale or the T2 armors. I think Bioware is missing a huge opportunity by not offering cosmetic armors in their online store.

Also strange that modifications have no visual effect in mp when they do in sp. models should be in the game.
