So ive been away for over 6 months and came back with about $50  put into chests...

Almost every match i have joined OR created myself have resulted in loosing connection.....literally hours and hours of play for absolutely no benefit at all. Sometimes if i manage to get through a match, and continue with the same team i get stuck at the initial cut scene either with a black screen or just standing at the spawn point with no ability bar and cannot move....

What just sent me over the top was hitting the gong in  PUG because i was having a good time, only to loose connection at the dragon on 10%......

I remember these issues from when the game first came out, i hardly expected it to be the same.

I think it's an Australia problem...

I don't have that problem and I'm in the same region but have better internet than most.

But some Australians have terrible connections... You might also have a bad connection.

I would check your router and see how many data packets are being lost.

Im in Asia and the internet is pretty awesome here, i have no problem and low ping playing other games like BFH/BF4 and mmos...

I cannot start a game with a team, i constantly have to add in to a match already started.

That sounds extremely frustrating.  I don't believe this is a game-wide issue, as I've personally had much better stability since patch 10, and I've heard similar reports from others.  Perhaps EA or Bioware offers some kind of online troubleshooting that can diagnose the problem.

I am having the same issues in the USA. Did the port forwarding thing last weekend - no change.

My ping is 26 and speed 13mb - I don't think its my internet.

Judging by the name, OP is from Australia, a place where the playerbase is very small and scattered over long distances. Connection issues are omnipresent and the chance of finding players from highly populated regions via matchmaking is nil. Attempts to override the matchmaking and joining an overseas friend's lobby through invitation will virtually always result in an infinite blackscreen after the match's intro (the characters will be standing, have a straight posture and relaxed arms) which has been coined The Blackscreen of Death.

The multplayer part of this game, apparently, was never meant to give a satisfactory experince for those playing outside the privileged regions of North America and Western (plus some part of Eastern) Europe. Bioware should have been clear about that from the beginning. Most people could never have imagined that the Matchmaking and netcoding were issues never to be addressed.

All that  being said, as well as being someone who plays this game from a Third World region, my pieces of advice for players struggling with this game are: to have lots of friends, lots of dedication and an above-human level of patience.

Interesting, so the DNS flush works for an hour?

Also I must mention that you can't compare your connection to BF4 and MMO's because they are all on dedicated servers, where as DAI:MP is Peer to Peer so someone with a dial-up connection could be hosting the game your connecting to.

13mb down and up? and your ping to where is 26?

This is a peer to peer game, so upload is very important when it comes to hosting and communicating with hosts and your ping will be judged by how far away the person who is  hosting, not what server you a closer to.

I've seen a problem where Qos being on caused a similar issue.  Check to see if it's set to off on your router

I don't think that is smart move from them.

Mass effect has much bigger and more "enthusiastic"player base than Dragon age.Fun times ahead.
