Hes a god, he probably had like a 100 others and just this one happend to be in the middle of nowhere where slime frezzes in your nose, so no1 looked there.

Id say its no biggy.

Edit: I guess that explains why in last cuscene Inquisitions operates from some dirty shack.

You could look at it as we used him to get what we wanted. Even at the end of it all, even if he hates our guts, he still can't kill us since doing so would only cause more chaos for his "people".

Also, this seems pretty rewritey. Skyhold doesn't have any elven looks to it at all. No mosaics. And for it being his, it doesn't have any paintings aside from those he makes while he is there in the present era.

Solas created the veil at Skyhold, so no it was not just a "place" to him.

Skyhold was built on a elven ritual site, which was confirmed in Trespasser to indeed be the place he created the veil. So yes, Skyhold is his, even if the Fereldens built a new fortress over it.

The site been used repeatedly over the millennia being everything from a elven site to a Avvar site to some random noble family building a castle there before abandoning it presumably after one of those attacks that left a old elven arrow you can find for a codex.

Codex from the base game: http://dragonage.wik...try:_On_Skyhold

Pretty much everyone who theorized that he'd created the Veil (before Trespasser came out) also assumed that it was his castle, because of the "Skyhold" = "Tarasyl'an te'las" = "Where the sky is held back" thing.

Used him? We never knew he was the puppet master, asked for it, or even know he owned it. He put us in a place he could manipulate us at his will....

..What the hell is up with this mountain?

First the temple of sacred ashes. Then we find out it's also an elven temple. The a potential titan. A dragon living in it. And the Avvar brought to it by Mythal to worship it...and now this?

That alot of lighting bolts hitting one spot.

Indeed. This chain of events causing the world to fall in more conflict is caused by the elven gods.

Also, I figured it had belonged to him. Skyhold, where the sky was held back. Thanks for the castle.

Leave the place trashed so he has to spend a few hours cleaning the place up instead of planning Veil sundering.

Unless something powerful enough helps him along to an untimely and [hopefully] grisly demise.

From the main forum page this thread's title cuts off right before the ' so it sounds like you're saying we're living INSIDE of Solas which is either impressive theorycrafting or kinky.

I vote kinky.

Indeed, kinky interpretations are generally superior interpretations.
