We've already had a threesome. I think it's clear what needs to be done: orgy.

Jade Empire is a Bioware game and they have it already. DAI was exploring that option but decided not to due to complication and resource constraint just so you know.

How about CIRCLE MAGE, TOWER GUARD and SOLDIER as squadmates?

I mean why not? Dragon Age Origins allowed it so why not Andromeda?

That was done under Bioware of a different time. Today's Bioware is too clean and sanitized to do such a thing.

2005 era Bioware is not the same as 2015 Bioware.

In the lead in to DAI they were throwing around the idea of having a pair of companions be a polyamorous couple who invite the PC to join them. Andromeda might not be a bad place to implement that.

I'm pretty sure they've at least talked about it, considering they've said at con panels that they're looking to finding some way to make ployamory functional in-game. The problem, from my understanding, is with programming, not "sanitizing".

It'd be awesome if it happens. I still headcanon that my Hawke, Isabela, and Fenris are all in a poly relationship with each other <3 Would love to have an actual canon opportunity to try it.

Programming issues of measuring multiple NPC romance progression count are a laughable excuse, really. Even Bioware themselves solved this in 2005.

Mef... I think I'll say ... beyond the purview of a mass effect game.

...

Not really against the option, but it feels like a can of worms (pun?)... Also... would it include the option to hire someone to be the third man/woman? Which is really the only place I'd ever see myself: A: having a threesome (to avoid jealousy) B: Ever pay anyone for sex (Normally really dislike that concept for myself).

A full love triangle would be awesome, but with 2 girls, don't throw a second guy in there ;)

Are you refering to the JE romance? That amounted to one scene at the end, it didn't alter any of the dialogue leading up to it. So I wouldn't go so far as to call it 'solved'.

I approve of this, my femshep was looking forward to being in the middle of a chocolate and vanilla swirl with Kaidan and Jacob, but sadly the game didn't allow her.

Oh please, why just a threesome? We need a full-on harem ending with every love interest (obviously only unlocked once you've completed all other romances).

That said, on a more serious note, I would be interested in seeing how a polyamorous relationship would play out (not just a casual threesome but a genuine three-way romance). I would say it would probably be best to avoid writing such a relationship as "male PC with a pair of girls", as that could easily be seen as somewhat exploitative / fanservicey whereas, say, male PC with a guy and a girl would probably be easier to perceive as a serious relationship written for story reasons [that's not to say the former couldn't be such, just how it is likely to be percieved].

Do you need "three of us will bang, ok?" dialog before actual scene? That won't add any complexity, it will be triggered just like scene itself. Or do you need entire romance being discussed in group? That's barely done even for main plot.
