I, of course, am doing the "Broken Circle" quest.  I can change into all four forms.  I've taken out four demons; the last one, Yevena, in the area where Niall is trapped.  After killing Yevena, I noticed there were three mouse holes on the map where she was located.  There's at least one downhill from the "Twisted Structure."  However, it doesn't let you go down hill in any of your forms.  How do you get to those mouse holes?  I know there's probably just optional "essence of..." stations there, nothing essential.  Still, I would like to know how you were supposed to get to them.

To the best of my recollection, you just have to keep trying by entering them in your mouse form and seeing where they come out.  The one downhill from the Twisted Structure is probably an exit for one of the others.  Good luck!  (Been awhile since I did that quest last, so my memory's a bit hazy... but like you, I'm a "get all the stat boosts you can" player.)

I know how to change to a mouse so I can enter a mouse hole.  The situation, here, however, is that I can see where the mouse holes are located but can't get my PC over to where they're located in mouse form or any other form.

Quick question why are they called mouse holes when you are playing as a rat?

It's been a long time since I went through the fade, but as far as I know, there are only two mouse holes in the raw fade & they lead to each other.

If you take the fade portal north of Niall, I think it comes out it that L shape section with the lesser demons, (The spirit door in that area leads to a dexterity bonus) & heading south through the fade portal brings you out near the disturbing statue.
From there you can enter the mouse hole & come out the mouse hole in the south.
