So I don't know if this has been covered before, but I just found out that the time of a match includes the loading screen after starting. Meaning once everyone readies up and the timer hits zero, the match timer begins. Almost useless information I suppose but I thought it was interesting.
Apologies if this knowledge is as common as the cold.

On PS3, you spend a minute on that loading screen. 
That's one of the factors why PC soloers are in an advantage (shorter loadtimes). 
I think the timer starts about 2-5 seconds into the loading screen, though.
Yes. A few weeks ago I was in a match in which the host left during the extraction wave. When the game finally ended, the time indicated for the match was 3:08.

Ideally, you would record then they could subtract the loading times cross platforms if competing.

Actually, cross-platform just breeds too many issues, and far too much fanboi hate, and bitching, and crying, and.... hmm, I guess nothing would change. I would happily play cross-platform IF I COULD TURN THE FKING "AUTO-AIM" OFF! I DO NOT WANT TO AIM AT THE SWARMER ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THAT 5m WALL! I want to aim at the fking phantom 5m in front of me!
