What needs to be changed/fixed for a quick patch

Here are some aspects of Trespasser I'm disappointed in and would love to see some changes should there be another patch.

 

1. We want the taken shape effect on the crafted version of the trespasser armour (the skin that XXXXXX). Sure, the set effect is pretty cool and it's a great idea, but no one is going to wear a unique armour over a crafted one in that matter.

 

2. The descent armour (stone stalker set) need sigil slots

 

3. Upgrade slots for T4 schematics (both armour and weapons). I find myself still using some main game armour schematics after obtaining all the dlc schematics just for that extra defensive stats.

 

3.5 If you are going to add upgrade slots for T4 schematics, then please also add some T4 upgrade schematics. 

 

4. The special effects from certain Trespasser schematics is absolutely a fantastic idea! Care to make these schematics T4? Or add more special effects to the existing T4 weapon schematics.

 

5. Buff the staff blades. (Brand and Tidarion) I appreciate that this looks very cool but the damage is... poor. It's the same base damage as staves when in essence, they are 1h/2h swords. You can't shoot projectiles like a staff does when using a sword, you know? Much lower attack rate compared to conventional staves, and much lower damage compared to standard warrior weapons. I ditched those 2 schematics completely. Maybe you do something about that?

 

6. Any chance of adding some vitaar schematics at all? I mean, that's just pure racism towards those quanri players!

 

7. We are still waiting to see a Bianca Arms masterwork slot appear...

 

8. Any chance of adding Heartbreaker difficulty like the MP?

 

Is there any thing else you want to be changed/patched? Voice it!

Blade of Tidarion does AoE. Shouldn't compare apples and oranges IMHO

Also I'm glad many T4 are not upgradable. It simplifies farming.

I would like battlemage arms armor upgrade fixed for human females. It floats in cinematics.

I'd also like some sort of Golden Nug treatment for war missions (make them take 0 sec).

I also think 2h tree actives need reworking. Give either mighty blow or whirlwind toggle upgrade a built in taunt (like payback strike). Earthshattering Strike needs to do a lot more damage (500% two hits) due to what you must give up to take it. Nerf combat roll coming through to the ground!!!

New Ring of Pain doesn't do spirit damage and that should be fixed. Templar Blessed Blades is still worthless. KE Disruption field needs to do bonus damage for all like static cage. Rift Mage firestorm should do spirit damage IMHO. Energy barrage acts wonky too.

I for myself just want a fix to pathfinding and hitboxes in tac cam. Both are pretty much just garbage in its current state.

Sigils. Old idea, it was runes in DAO now they calling it sigils, fine, but what with a crappy effects?

 

Sigil of the Gamordan Stormrider: +10% Electricity Damage, -50% All Other Damage

Sigil of the Highland Ravager: +10% Fire Damage, -50% All Other Damage

Sigil of the Greater Mistral: +10% Cold Damage, -50% All Other Damage

Sigil of the Arcane Horror: +10% Spirit Damage, -50% All Other Damage

Sigil of Deathroot: +10% Attack, -50% Heal Bonus

Sigil of Lyrium: +50% Barrier, -50% Health

Sigil of the Deepstalker: +200% Flanking Damage, -50% Attack

 

 

All that bull crap needs to go, replace it with fire/spirit/cold/electrical/magic/melee/ranged resistance and defense.  And no! not with the same logic +10 fire resistance – 50% All Other resistance will be bad, make it useful +25 fire resistance – 5 cold resistance, or +30 melee defense – 10 ranged defense. Then people will actually use new sigils, right now Sigil of the Bear and Sigil of the Bronto only two viable options.

Combat Roll needs to be re-adjusted, barrier amulet needs to be nerfed.

'1' damage needs to be patched- happens with more than just Fire Mine now.

 

All new Schematics/Sigils/Weapons/Armors available at the BE.

 

Crashes- getting lots of crashes with trials turned on- especially when closing out Rifts.

 

New Brand sword for 1H Warriors is weak as ****** and listed as a Staff.

 

Rogues should get a dagger made of Elemental Material (like the Blade of Tidarion/Chromatic/Brand weapons for other characters)

i use sigil of lyriun on my KE and it works great. i also use sigil of deep stalker on my assassin.
however, i dont think the elemental damage sigils are useful.

1st one: You're getting resisted, its not a bug.

 

2nd one: I agree with this one, at least as far as Sigils.

 

3rd one: Yeah, Trials are buggy as ****.

 

4th one: Brand's not a Warrior 1H, its a Mage Staff (its mind boggling but yeah). 

 

5th one: Meeeeeh. Bow of the Artificer is pretty godly already...

1. It does do AOE damage, but it also requires melee range, and does significantly less damage than the item set it shares most commonality with. It just needs more damage... or needs a dash move... also a tangible blade would be nice, it looks a little funky on my tiny little Dalish Mage.
 
2. I disagree, makes them pointless without upgrade slots.
 
3. More Golden Nug is a must.
 
4. Yes.
 
5. Yes. Though I think Disruption Field doesn't need bonus damage -- just a larger area of effect, you can barely fit 5 actors into it, which makes it a bit hard to use when your companions are the ones inside of it and not the foes.

That's not been my experience. Enemies- specifically high level ones- that are fire vulnerable (Gurns, some dragons, etc.) are stepping on Fire Mines and incurring '1' damage.  Seems like a bug to me.

 

As for Brand- check again. I could only equip it on a Warrior- even though it was listed as a staff:

I noticed that a lot in Descent, later found out it was Evasion chance, Guard, and Barrier. 

 

As for Brand...

You missed the most important bug of all: The IQ should not say to Cass, "I'm thinking about getting married," right after they just got married!

- Make Mind Blast useful. It still sucks hard.

- Fix the new Effortless Lunge

- Add schematics for the new DLC weapons and armors.

- Give the Qunari a new Qunari-only armor....that doesn't cost $4.99.

- Add an option to slow down combat speed by 30%.

- Give us an option to slap the **** out of Solas

Mind blast does suck hard especially for ai. They will literally run up to enemy just to use it, then get slapped right back.

Make the ****** Hakkon materials more accessible.

 

A grand total of 14 Ice Dragon Hide in the entire ****** game? When there is about 200 Dragon Scales pre-Trespasser and infinite stock in Trespasser?

 

That's just ridiculous. What was the point of adding it to the game at all? So they could advertise "new materials"?

You missed the most important bug of all: The IQ should not say, "I'm thinking about getting married," to Cass right after they just go married!
 
Terrible, terrible bug.


Same for Sera marriage, even worse though, in the next conversation Cass congratulates the IQ for marrying Cullen.
