Just finished the game completely (main game+3 DLC) with my first character (Human female mage - british v.a.).

This time I'm going to play as a Human Male (British voice actor) still can't decide which class but I think he's also going to be a mage (I like the mage/adept  :D gameplay).

Any suggestions ? Class/character/story specific or any other tips before I start ?

Rift Mage.

When in doubt, Rift Mage. Never run out of mana again.

Bonus points if you change that to Rogue, though :D

Suggestions? Tips?

I guess I would suggest doing something slightly different this time. A different choice or two. Give your character new motivations.

Or, do a completely different run than the previous one. Were you for the Chantry? Oppose it this time. Were you all about that Elven Glory? Agree with Sera this time. Did you go to the mages to ally or conscript them? Go to the Templars this time.

Edit: If you are going mage and haven't done a Knight Enchanter, that was a fun class. If you got the schematic for the Blade of Tidarion already and nugged it, you can be a knight enchanter with two giant lightsabers. The main 2 hr sword for mages only and the spirit blade.

Be sure you change your world state in the keep. Best way to change the game that I know of also on the "this or that" decision (Mage/Templar, hawk/warden...ect) choose the opposite of what your first choice was.
