Hopefully the next patch rectifies this seemingly very easy fix.

First of all I have to thank Figsflapsy on PS4 for this workaround.

All credit to him.

Equip the Hakkon Dagger (the one you want to eventually offhand)

Now put a purple dagger in offhand. Say Silencer.

Now move Silencer to main hand. The Hakkon will auto swap to the offhand.

Now equip your 2nd dagger in main hand.

Dual Wield Hakkon daggers.

I would never have thought of this myself.

OP now you know how it feels to be one of the people who actually played the game when the Hakkon weapons came out and the loot rate was bugged.

Loot rate wasn't bugged. It was fine how it was but they decided to "fix" it anyways. Kinda like how they do everything else. Wonder what would happen if they broke something?

Mad jelly about the dagger out of a chest...too bad you didn't already have one...

The second dagger isn't that great. I only use the two of them together on the alchemist. For other rogues, there are better options.

I have one from Dragon.  Then got one from chest.  It's still main hand only. 

 

I made a post but Bioware did not comment on it.  So ..working as intended

 

WRONG  You move the Hakkon to the other hand first and then you can equip two. (Click the Dagger in the other hand on to the Hakkonn and they switch, next equip the other Hakkon in to the purple hand and BOOYA - Double Hakkon.)  Obviously if you want to run two then it's fine.  I prefer HAkkon and Bloody Bargain

WRONG? That sounds a little rude (maybe cocky), especially for someone who was carried for the longest time by people with high stats whilst claiming NM was easy.

Yep, I went home yesterday & just added the Silencer to the main hand & it auto pushed the Hakkon dagger to the Off hand. Easy enough.

The second dagger isn't that great. I only use the two of them together on the alchemist. For other rogues, there are better options.

Bloody Bargain is pretty sweet and the level 27 dagger would no doubt be used by the Assassin. 

 

Not an issue really, probably won't ever get a second.

How dare you? Did you not see his elemantalist build,where he was melting enemies with immolate? Or his reaver getting rid of enemies that the legionnaire had taunted.
