For me, it is without question Cain's HSol GPR Thunderdome.  (I know he's probably getting sick of me spamming this damn thing, lol, but it is truly epic).

^^^^ This has to be a joke. 2 Hours for 1 solo? Must be photoshopped or edited someway. It's the funniest thing I have seen in awhile. I didn't watch it..cuz I saw the length is over 2 hours...no way someone would actually take the time to even attempt this, let alone someone actually take the time to watch it. I forgot, who had that 18 hour bronze solo vs Cerberus?  that one gets my vote.

Depends on the category. It's hard to compare a speedrun to a solo with avenger.

Alquinn's GI solo and Techno's DI solo are my picks for speedrun category.
ex-clusum's volus merc solo with avenger vs condor/collectors is my pick for the gimped/painful/patience (or whatever you may wanna call it) category.

There are more categories I can classify the solos into but these two are the extreme cases.

Call me a narcissist, but my favorites are the 2 I've done. Knowing what I put into my Thunderdome solo, which happened to be my first Platinum solo, I couldn't ever like another video more than that. My 2nd just reminds me of how far I'd come as a player, as it was done with relative ease in comparison to the first one.

Knockinbr4in's sub 20 minute PS3 Plat solo is insane. Unbelievable to defeat the almighty RNG like that, especially on the PS3

 

And being a GI fanboy, Alquinn's speedrun record was pretty awesome, another form of defeating RNG. It's a given time will be saved by only doing the fastest objective automatically, but all that does is give you the smallest chance to produce that fast a run. To be able to pull it off is incredible, considering the other RNG elements and great shooting that have to happen.

 

I also seem to remember a live stream Caineghis Thunderdome, back when TD was still pretty new. I think he used a TGI / Harrier and was doing live commentary at the time; that was pretty intense and entertaining.

 

Really though, huge props to all the regular plat soloers out there, I never had the patience; the fact that several of you regularly produce sub 25 min plat solos puts you in a category of best ever

I've used the TGI harrier in other earlier solos but never in the thunderdome. I think it was the salarian inf harrier which was my first ever thunderdome.

Is it because it's platinum? I like it because it's easy to see enemy spawns from that top level. (Mind you I've only ever done solo's on bronze).

Iv'e also noticed that its never used on the gold/plat high score lists.
