Alright, so I've been pretty bored grinding out Con in an attempt to finally stop dying and was thinking of some ability changes that would be fun, but not game-breaking (in my eyes, except for two.) These are alternate upgrades to the abilities, quite like in the Trespasser Single-Player dlc.

Spike Trap:

Can now be set at potion throwing ranges, does 25% less damage.

Caltrops:

The archer left his fanny pack open and now spills caltrops everywhere, slowing everything behind him. Does no damage. Lasts until death. (The trail itself is about as long as say, two Kataris.)

Hot Licks:

Now a single target beam that does 300% dot damage as long as you face the target and stay in song range. Drains 5 mana per second. (Can cast other songs in this time. Think Aganazzar's Scorcher if you're familiar with D&D.)

Hometown Anthem (the barrier song):

No longer gives barrier instantly. Every 4 seconds those affected by the song will burst with 20% barrier. Overlapping targets will apply the barrier to one another at a 50% reduction after the first (so 20%, then 10% for every one after, for a total of 50%. Assuming no barrier ring of course). Lasts 8 seconds.

Charging Bull:

No longer generates guard (actually, 5% for Katari), but two phantom Vashoth (or fellow Sisters) will increase the width of your charge. (About roughly the same size as the character models, one to the left, and one to the right)

War Cry:

No longer gives guard or increases armour, enemies who are taunted gain a 50% movement speed bonus. (Have them cluster easier.)

Livid:

If the maximum amount of enemies are hit (5 iirc), no longer gain the livid buff and instead burst with 350% weapon damage. (Rare I know)

Lunge and Slash:

Damage is now 150%, range is now anything in sight. Cannot pass through terrain and obstacles.

Poisoned Weapons:

Lasts until death, poison damage is now 10% per second. (And damage bonus is only 5%).

Flank Attack (thinking ring for this, on rarity of Dragon Weapons):

Flank Attack no longer triggers a cooldown if it does not hit a target.

Fade Step (thinking ring, on rarity of Physical Immunity Amulet):

Fade Step can now hit a target more then once.

I'm pretty bored guys. Warriors are boring. Post more ability changes that would be interesting please! Need something to read while playing, and wikipedia is getting dry.

How about "Causes 100% less lag?"

Hell no.

That's actually a heavy nerf.

That's actually a heavy nerf.

It's all pretty subjective, I'm just doing this because it's fun. Could you elaborate on why you hate those two in particular?

Anyhow, I'm posting because I thought of more changes I thought would be fun/funny.

Earthshaking Strike:

Creates a physical barrier enemies can no longer cross.

Whirlwind:

Now pulls enemies in (radius of Hissera's flow explosion thingy). No longer does damage or triggers combos, and cooldown is halved.

Line in the Sand:

Any enemy that comes into contact with the wall take 200% weapon damage and become stunned.

Fade Cloak:

Can press again to end early and deal damage proportional to time spent in cloak (this version only goes up to 600% damage).

Dragon Rage:

On third hit, now burst with fiery rage (radius equal to Spike Trap) instead of a double hit. Burst deals 125% weapon damage.

Hopping in!

Fade Step (Fade Sprint):

Fade Step will last as long as you hold down the button.

Blizzard (Misama):

Deals poison damage and slow enemies instead.

Winter's Grasp (Actually Grasping):

Hold the enemy in place with a revenant hand for a few seconds before freezing it.

Lady's Wrath (Lady's Scorn):

Paralyze enemies on hit. Each enemy paralyzed consumes additional stamina.

Knockout Powder (Drug Abuse Hallucination):

Target are panicked on awakening, then knocked down when no longer panicked.

Disruption Field (Reflection Field):

All projectiles entering the field will reverse direction and hit enemies instead.

Mind Blast (Mine Blast):

Set a spirit mine underneath the caster, dealing spirit damage and removing all threat from the caster when triggered.

how would it possibly be fun to nerf already poor characters ?

the katari became viable above routine only because of the guard generation being added, the avar is already pants enough unless your over 200 promotions, in fact every nerf you suggest just makes all those characters limited to routine instead of all being viable on harder difficulties without the need to power promote, that to me isn't a "fun" idea its just petty pointless nerfing of characters because you don't like them /

On the contray, I thought of that Charging Bull change as a buff. Give him some damn viable AoE clear. Right now the only choice I have for warriors that clear quickly is the Avvar. Reaver is just all single-target. My stats are low (<50), with the exception of cunning which is maxed, so this is obviously all pretty biased.

Mine Blast is pretty hilarious, definitely would be fun to play around with. That Reflection Field would be pretty cool-looking when all the mobs are spamming ranged attacks too. Lady's Scorn I think, could be op or crippling to the Avvar, he has a bit of a stamina issue as is. Though there would be so much more sweet, sweet support xp. Also, he could detonate the paralyzes with Crushing Leap, sweet, sweet combo xp.

Do you have Trespasser? They added additional upgrades to the skill that you can switch to, like how Spirit Blade can either have Amplifying Blade OR Deflecting Blade. I think that's what Sinstrality are daydreaming about, instead of a mandatory replacement.

Yup, that's what I'm thinking of. Sorry I wasn't clear in the op, I'll make a edit.
