It's just so uncanny..I wonder just how many more of those foreshadowing things BW planed to pull off.

Who knows, but no doubt some serious stuff is going to go down in the next game. My thought is Qunari VS Tevinter conflict + dealing with solas and his mess that he will try to make and or has already made. I feel the next protagonist should be called "the maid" or "Janitor", since we are always cleaning up someones mess!

Looks like one of the arm rests for the Orlesian throne got away.

EDIT: Going back and looking, they aren't exactly the same.

Very similar, but just enough difference. The hair definitely looks more like Flemeth's on the piece on the roof, as well as it looks like she has the face decoration/armor on the roof piece as well.

What was the Codex entry? Was it about an attack or something?

You know what? I wonder how many hidden places still are in game or things like these that people discover only now lol

Those change depending on your decor (I believe this one comes from the Orlesian decor).

They can be hard to notice because they're only loaded when you're in the courtyard areas (if you go to the battlements, they actually disappear), but some of them cast a shadow down by the gate that can be hard to miss.

It's in the garden (you can easily jump on the roof there from the walls above).

IIRC it's a note from the mason about restoring Skyhold (similar to the others that can be found in various places).

You find those figures around Orlais, usually in gold and with wings. I've never used the Orlesian throne, the ears on the figure look pointed. Avariel in Thedas? How awesome would *that* be? Almost as awesome as dark elves.

It's an Orlesian statue. You see them all over the Winter Palace.

Orlesians also like to incorporate winged women into their armour.

I never saw this before. It's interesting since Skyhold was one of Solas' bases, so I doubt it has anything to do with Orlais. Unless the Orlaisians took it from the Elvhen and modified it to suit them like Tevinter did.

I found a loot urn behind some scaffolding at Caer Oswin the other day. Does that count?

It makes sense i think...Skyhold did belong to Solas after all (he confirms it in Trespasser DLC on one of the dialog choices with low approval)

Skyhold was rebuilt over many times, the current architecture is Ferelden, the codex says as much. Some other entries talks about stolen bricks too. Also, the style you use might affect how certain things look.

There are remains of elven architecture visible if you know your stuff though. For example, the corridor right before the War Room door as the typical pointed archway of elvhen architecture instead of the Ferelden rounded one.

Orlais architecture is heavily inspired by the Dales might I add. Much more colorful and artistic with a lot more details on the statues though.

edit:

Forgot to say, there are also dwarven statues in Skyhold.

The old elven arrow above the garden was interesting and apparently still sharp with fresh blood on it.
I thought I read/heard that Skyhold was built upon elven sacred ground?

They can be hard to notice because they're only loaded when you're in the courtyard areas (if you go to the battlements, they actually disappear), but some of them cast a shadow down by the gate that can be hard to miss.

Three decor options put these sorts of gargoyles on the corner of the main hall and the tower with your quarters in it:

-Orlesian decor gives you winged women like in the pic

-Fereldan decor gives you mabari statues

-Tevinter decor gives you metal spikes.

Because decor despawns if you get too far away from the hall, you can only see the gargoyles if you're in the courtyard.

Next time I'm back at Skyhold, I'll have to check it out.
