Seriously. Not b/c it's great (it is ****** great) and not b/c it's a Batarian weapon (<-- why it's ****** great). Not b/c it can be charged for more damage (a fuckton of charged damage) and not b/c you can charge it while running (you can, of course) or b/c you can run away from a nearly dead enemy (which rarely happens, they're usually dead if you hit them) and then wait for the bleed damage to get them (surprise ******, you're dead!) while you're lining up the next spawn (surprise again, ******, you're dead next!).

It's b/c you can send Phantoms and Marauders and the like flying, careening, soaring, sailing hilariously across and off the map and it. is. AWEsome. I started a pUUG alone this morning, ended up with Hazard White Rippaz, most of which I played solo, and I can't tell you how many Marauders I sent soaring off the map, esp in the LZ, where they fly up and land on the ledges.

Even with hilarity being the true goal and reward of this kit, it is not without it's utility and power. You can basically solo an entire Gold spawn (I'd imagine Plat as well, though slowly, but haven't tested, so can't confirm, only theorize), esp with Phasics (*edit* people smarter than me suggest Incendiary, Disruptor, or Warp ammo), as long as you know how to RHA and your backpedal skillz are finely tuned. It's an insanely powerful kit. I'm assuming the only reason I don't see it more is b/c most people have the BW @ X now or most people don't host, which is probably necessary for consistently good gameplay with it, b/c projectile (boo, can't shoot through walls!....but, another advantage b/c what armor DR?? Also, what's shieldgate?).

inb4slowpoke.gif, I know some of you know this, b/c some of you know everything (just ask, you'll tell us!) but I can't be the only one b/c again, I never see this gun. So if you haven't taken it for a whirl, or it's been awhile, do so today, as it's highly recommended and (Batarian) Bartender approved!

It is good if you get the hang of the difference in POA and POI... especially left-right at closer ranges.

Agreed, POI appears to be below POA from what I've seen, @ least from what I can recall after 2 games this morning. Still, not the wonkiest gun to aim in this game  :P

WTF is b/c ?

And if I were you I'd forget about phasics : it doesn't need them to oneshot an ennemy as it ignores shieldgate, I personally love warp and incendiary ammo on him.

B/c is short for because

I took the Phasics b/c of the 15 second delay in shield regen, I find that to be useful at times, esp when I'm alone

Right on, I'll try Incendiary next

Ah. Thanks.

Sorry, I'm new here :)

As for the Kishock, I could (probably) hit a barn door.

But only if said barn door wasn't partaking in some type of locomotion.

(Probably),

It's good, yes, mainly because it ignores shieldgate. Weapons that can one-shot kill Phantoms without Phasics are pretty rare. Only its inability to pierce (besides guardians' shields) let it outside the very best guns.

No worries  ;)

I'm not the most accurate player, but since I ended up with Rippaz the only things I had to worry about moving fast were husks and Marauders, but since I was using the Salfiltrator, my designated sniping class, I had two powers to take care of them, b/c cloaked Prox Mines kill husks immediately, and Energy Drain staggers Marauders, so as long as they're still they're easy pickin's. Brutes and Ravagers are huge and slow, Banshees were a little bit of a pain b/c it seems like their biotic jumps can make you miss but again, little stagger from ED or PM and they'll hold still for a moment.

Does it give 1337 points on killing phantom?

Question related to discussion in thread. Will incendiary ammo DOT stack with Kishock bleed damage?

Funny thing is it used to be even better since it had a damage bug (that eventually was patched). I enjoy the Kishock a lot as well.

I rate it very highly (#2 among snipers, may be) despite it being awkward off-host.

Phasics are wasted on the Kishock since a kishock headshot does enough damage to OSK every single mook on good with just the extended barrel and sniper rifle rail amp with any ammo. If you include passives and other damage bonuses, the above statement can be applied to platinum too. Warp ammo is probably the best ammo all around but disruptor/incendiary are good choices if you're actively looking for ammo-based combos.

Also.... GET REKT PHANTOMS...YOUR BS IS NO MATCH!

If you are asking whether they stack strangely like incendiary glitching, then nope.

I suspected this a while back and made a thread but people more familiar with the game mechanics than myself said it wasn't the case.

I wish it would work better on Infiltrators like GI. The timing of tactical cloak, cancel reload, breaking cloak via power like proxy mine and Kishock charge always messes me up one to many times.

On all other kits, once warmed up, the really fast reload times with cancel reload makes this game unlike any other SR in the game. Making for a much more aggressive SR action. At least, this is my favourite thing about this weapon beside it's shield gate ignoring capabilities.

Good to know.

Also, I am so glad you have a gif of what I'm talking about, I looked for one on Google but didn't find anything. But yes, people, the lolz alone are worth the price of admission

Dont forget it has no ****** hipfire penalty

and a ****** great *3 HS multiplier (so that passive 5b is far better than 5a ...)

I'm glad you mentioned that, I was scoped in most kills but had a few from hip-fire, I wasn't sure if no penalty or just sofuckingpowerful it still killed even so.

I don't like IA on the Kishock because it pushes more kills into the DOT range, and DOT kills are annoying.

^ Then I take it like most single shot high damage weapons in this game, it is a good primer
