^ Then I take it like most single shot high damage weapons in this game, it is a good primer

ROF is only 70, so good for "chance" based priming (disruptor, cryo).

Base damage is high, so good for IA priming.

All SRs are good primers ;)

... though with the Javelin it's often academic as whatever you've shot is dead.

Glorious weapon.  The Claymore is the only gun I actively enjoy using more, despite the fact that I only host very rarely.  I've always loved it on the BatSent, for obvious reasons, and going the fast shield-recharge build makes him almost unkillable.  I'll put it on just about any character who has some kind of stun capability. I've even put explosive ammo on it, because why not?!

It's boingtastic.

If you are asking whether they stack strangely like incendiary glitching, then nope.

I suspected this a while back and made a thread but people more familiar with the game mechanics than myself said it wasn't the case.

Oh dang. I thought maybe it might be enough to kill a gold or plat brute/scion with sniper amp III and incendiary ammo IV from a tac cloak shot. Is it?

Sadly I can't use that gun. Off host it doesn't work that good and with the latency I get when I join games hosted by players in US and AU kishock just wont work. :(

Will upload lag effect 3 vid I recorded today sometime later on youtube.

Love using the Kishock on the GE with either warp or incendiary ammo. Even off host as long you are accustomed to lag the weapon still works.

Ever since I've put Claymore on huntress, I haven't really looked back, However, before that, I used to run her with Kishock and she was ever so much fun. The DoTs of Warp, DC and Kishock and add up nicely and it's fun to watch that health/armor bars dwindle away slowly but surely.

I called her Mistress of Pain :D In fact, I think I'll run her again with the same setup, just for the sake of good old times.

Cool I am gonna try that. Have a bunch of warp ammo IV that I need to get rid of use.

A gi with all headshot buffs will do ~50 more damage with a charged kishock headshot than a javelin headshot.

And now you know.

It's a personal favourite on the QFI because it is unaffected by shieldgate, allowing one to benefit from sabotage buffed ammo explosions while still being able to melon pop any humanoid. Being a charge weapon, it also benefits from a free cloaked shot when pre-charged, as well as getting the massive rank 6 sniper bonus. Cloak>charge shot>sticky>sabotage>shot>shot will all fit in a single cloak cycle, giving obscene burst damage, especially vs armour (you can drop a brute or scion in literally about 2 seconds, and a scumbag Prime on armour can be broken in one cloak cycle assuming you aren't staggered, which you will be, so don't bother and simply nuke the motherfucker). Finally, it has that sweet 3x HS multiplier and gibs or ragdolls everything unfortunate enough to be hit by the molten bridge girders it launches.

Oh, and it looks good. Who doesn't like a quarian girl with a big gun that goes BOOM and turns melons into chunks, or pins cheating toasters to the ceiling?

You forgot that as a projectile weapon it ignores the shield gate.

It's also extremely light weight for it's damage output.

Only issues are lag and getting stuck in cover when holding down a charged shot.

And to re-emphasize what's already been mentioned...

The zero hipfire penalty means 100% dmg for the applied sticky tech bursts (phrasing).

Edit:  I need to Kishock moar.  It has a reasonable weight and solid reload speed.

I wish I could like this twice for the alliteration of it's ammo to "molten bridge girders"

Only thing I don't like about the weapon is it really suffers because it can't pierce versus enemies like Atlas, Praetorian, etc. Of course that can be got around with incendiary/warp DOT on a kit like the AA or Huntress. It's a great weapon for mooks on just about any kit once you get the feel for it; Bat Sent, FQI, Vorcha Hunter are kind of the training wheel kits for the weapon though.

Not trying to shamelessly promote a vid at all but this was a very fun match with the Kishock Harpoon Gun and Batarian Sentinels. The gun is awesome.

BatSent is one of very few kits I use it on, but on him it works quite well.

I'd never try to do a platinum solo with it, but it's fun for team games.
