I'm having trouble finding the "things you should know" thread, but I'm wondering what causes this? It doesn't seem to relate to rarity but I don't see it often enough to get a gauge on it. Anyone know? (Sorry for the stench of noob i can't seem to shake)

Aside, green outline? No idea what that is. I know grey, blue, and purple in MP. Where was this "outline" that you saw?

I actually have a minor form of CVD (colour-vision defficiency), but that looks green to me? Lol

 

Aside, I think it may mean that it was loot gained from a treasure room or a dragon drop possibly? I never paid attention to it.

I should have known that DragonRacer would have the hookup... Thanks for letting it slide.

But yes, I'm only seeing the green on loot from matches, but it's not on all the loot. The screenshot was the only green of 4 looted items that run. I'll try to pay attention when it happens next to look for a connection.

Are you sure it's not the selection outline? Mine is orange when over a card that is selected.

Maybe it's glitched. Maybe we're getting Fade-Touched variants as a last hurrah. ;-) Spirit damage replaces physical damage; weapons and enemies randomly Fade-Touched.

Since the patch yesterday, my purple loots now show a blue outline on the back of the cards.   So for the people who has been salvaging all blue and grey outlines cards, make sure you actually read the cards.

He's right, as I see it too. I only see it after a match when going through the loot cards. I think there's red & yellow as well. They aren't solid, but 'pulse'. It's been around for a while. It doesn't seem to overlap any blue/rare or purple/unique items, only grey scrap.

It only happened with one chest for me, and I thought it was a bug.  The green items certainly weren't anything special.

I have it now and then as well. Not very often and not in a manner that I can link it to something. It's a kind of highlighting.

I think it is just cosmetic. For me it seems to alternate between green and orange between different chests that I buy. Buy one chest, orange background, the next chest, green, etc.
