Sure, as long as they don't kill the dog for the sake of drama.

Like I said, Varren would be good with the unknow weather and planets you'll go. But in ME world, Varren are actually a plague on most planets. Why bring this on a brand new galaxy?

A good invader brings: weapons, glass beads, the plagues, the stake and a splitted tongue. And general means to distribute all of it quickly, which includes rats, horses and dogs.

Bioware are constantly killing people for the sake of drama, not like I'd expect the dog to get a free pass. Hence my instinct to distant myself from it whenever a game presents the opportunity.

Because they're awesome? ![]()
I wouldn't use it. Most people draw a line in the sand somewhere when it comes to video game violence, and as I see it putting dogs in harms way crosses that line.
how is putting a dog in harms way crossing the line, but human lives not? please, try harder
Dog in the game? Isn't Ashley one?

I like them more than I like you for starters.

I guess you could argue the issue of consent. Dogs can't consent to being put in harms way.
But, I still want a dog. And a horse.

I wouldn't mind this. In ME3 deluxe we received a robot dog. Unfortunately all it did was wander around, and had no actual usefulness. BW, if you're going to include things like this, please make them useful to the team, kinda like (my pal!) Mabari in DA:O.
Metroids or bust.

At first I thought OP made this thread because of Fallout 4.
Nah I rather that Fish Dog thing Krogan and Batarians have.
Metal Gear Solid V seems to be at the moment the thing that people compare BW's game to. I guess Fallout 4 is next in the line when it's released.
Please, if they put a dog/varren/whutevah into the game as a (to me) pointless sidekick, let it be optional. I personally have no desire to hear barking, panting or anything else associated with a dog constantly in my ears as I play a game.

I do. I hope we get a pack of dog fur with the deluxe edition to put all over our furniture as well. I really want the total dog experience. ![]()

Just because it's a @#$%^ doesn't mean it's a female dog.
Anyways I've already suggested a mechanized hound that fires lasers, generates shields, and craps ammo clips.
