What are yours? Specifically interested in choices for weapon upgrades and rings.

Here are mine.

 

 

1-Handed Weapon

 

Cloth upgrade: Heal on Kill 13%

 

Metal upgrade: any

 

Rings: Superb Lifedrain X2

 

2-Handed Weapon

 

Metal upgrade: Stagger 16%

 

Leather upgrade: Critical Chance 16%

 

Rings: Superb Lifedrain X2

 

Have no Dragon Rage ring

 

Bow

 

Cloth upgrade: Heal on Kill 36%

 

Rings: Superb Stagger 

 

+ Leaping Shot Ring Archer

 

+ Superb Critical Chance Ring Hunter

 

Daggers

 

Straight Dagger: 

 

Metal upgrade: Stagger 11%

 

Leather upgrade: 5% critical chance

 

Duel Blade

 

Metal upgrade: Armor penetration 18%

 

Leather upgrade: Crit chance or Sunder?

 

 

Rings: Superb Lifedrain X2

 

Staff

 

Cloth upgrade: Heal on Kill 18%

 

Metal upgrade: +17 constitution (for me that is real good damage resistance)

 

 

Rings: Superb Lifedrain

 

+ Barrier skillring: Keeper/ele/virt

 

+Chain Lightning skillring for AW

 

+ Superb Sunder for Necro

First hit of chain lightning still crits, as do all your other abilities. Think you're getting too cute with Sunder. Report back I suppose.

Found out that Chain Lightning can't sunder but Energy Barrage can.

 

Rules is: If it can't crit it can't sunder/stagger (ps3 anyway)

 

10% Stagger works real nice inside a Leaping Shot and certainly provides a nice advantage when triple arrow spamming certain enemies.

 

 

Arcane warrior lost his sunder ring, necromancer kept it and combines it with virulence now.

 

 

Also: Are me and proto the only people here with the balls to post what their upgrades are?

Never use Energy Barrage, and not seeing how replacing the following would be worth stagger:

 

 

Bows:

Engraved Longbow Grip:

 

12 Imperial Vestment Cotton / 6 Imperial Vestment Cotton = +36% HOK

Thick Longbow Grip:

12 Craggy Skin / 6 Craggy Skin = +54% Critical Damage
12 Great Bear Hide / 6 Great Bear hide = +32% Critical Chance
12 Craggy Skin / 6 Great Bear Hide = +36% Critical Damage, +11% Critical Chance
12 Great Bear Hide / 6 Craggy Skin = 21% Critical Chance, +18% Critical Damage

Archer: 2 x Superb Critical Damage. If I'm using longshot, I'll swap a longshot ring.
Hunter: 2 x Superb Critical Damage.

If you go for Stagger you probably use 2 x HOK rings. You'll be losing 16% HOK for stagger, or 20ish critical chance / 40ish critical damage.

 

Nope, stagger no bueno.

That's enough to make it useful without sacrificing any Heal on Kill or Offense of any consequence.

 

 

Don't see much alternative to Energy Barrage. I'm strong enough to not need Ice Armor on nightmare and the necro on PS3, in a hakkon world? A real runt she is. At least I'll trigger Virulence properly now, or every once in a while anyway.

I forget you're talking about rings, I keep thinking weapon mods. You're like the hipster of equipment...a stagger ring...  :blink:

1-Handed Weapon (Hakkon)
 
12% crit chance, 5% attack (pretty meh, i know)
 
Rings: Superb Lifedrain, Superb crit chance
 
2-Handed Weapon (dragon maul)
 
10% crit chance, 4% attack, 6% heal on kill
 
Rings: Superb crit chance X2, or superb crit chance and superb HoK depending on mood
 
Have no Dragon Rage ring because i salvaged it by mistake like a moron
 
Bow (heartstring)
 
10% crit chance, 36% crit damage
 
Rings: superb HoK and superb crit chance for archer.
Superb HoK and superb crit damage for hunter
 
 
Daggers
 
Hakkon: 
 
10% attack, 9% crit damage (dagger grips suck)
 
Bloody Bargain:
 
10% attack, 5% crit chance
 
Rings: Superb crit chance + superb HoK on SS and alchemist. 
Superb crit damage + superb HoK on assassin.
 
Staff (Hakkon)
 
Heal on Kill 16% (been meaning to up that to 18% but too lazy), 10% crit chance and 5% attack (no logic behind this, was just excited at getting my first Hakkon and didn't want to hold up the lobby)
 
Rings: Superb HoK X2 on keeper, AW, necro, offensive saarebas
Superb HoK + Superb crit chance on virtuoso, ele
DF ring and Barrier ring on keeper
Superb HoK and barrier ring on saarebarrier
