Nah, of course there's no comparison. But still, my point was prioritizing friendships and loyalty over disagreements and overall horrible moments. Which is why I made my Inquisitor choose the redemption dialogue option as soon as I was able to, regardless of how angry I felt at Solas.

 

He means well, but he only needs to be shown of an alternative and non-destructive path to reach his goals.

@EBDerevko:  He means to destroy all of Thedas so the elven empire can rise again... that's exactly what Corypheus wanted for Tevinter... only, with less competency. 

 

No, I am not trying to convince you to dislike Solas - fans cannot be swayed by anything - but he's not just some misguided friend in the throws of a bad relationship, experimental drug abuse or depression. 

 

He is everything he claims he hated about the Evanuris. 

 

I think he's totally lying about all of it.  I think he punished them for revolting against his tyranny and he destroyed the elves stopping them... so he sulked into slumber.
