Hi guys,

I have looked and around and gathered 'some' advice, though i am wondering which mode and zone i should be farming for the fastest xp/gold/loot.

If i was going for pure xp to promote classes fast, what classes do you recommend?
Also how does the xp work out? I got a 80 kill streak in the last round of routine with my lvl9 avar in FC and was shocked to get about 7k xp on routine (solo)! Also do chests in Peri have higher chances to drop loot?

Sure AW is great for peri but its boring as....Ele has actually been fun to play. avar/duelist/silent sisters are pretty interesting and fun. Legionarre i enjoy, the bard looks to difficult for me (been away for over 6 months) havent played serebas.
I do a few peri runs a night, but then i generally promote once i get to 20. I only have 15con/17wp/13 cunning....

Heres my loot list
-2H i have a dragon greatsword for the heal, call of dark (awesome for routine runs), maul of tacitus, sundering and slayer.

-Griffon bow.
-1H nothing special, crap shields

-Daggers i have red birth and darkspawn sickle
-Staffs, nothing but a lvl 23 one which seems aight for now...

SO my loots is pretty terrible, and accessories are all crap.I only have 1 purp armor, for armour(yay), plenty of blues. Im not far off from dragonspawn armor for tanks, way off for mages/rouges though.

Any advice would be great. Sure the game is still buggy as hell and an absolute time waster, but its fun and im enjoying it, and id like to work towards some more gear and eventually NM runs.

Pug perilous always. Level 1 or higher, don't go below that. Talk to the other players and make friends.

Try using the hunter and get up close with your bow, get all three shots in, stealth always. Or take a Silent Sister and focus on her right talent tree.

Lego and go all guard//armor bonuses.

If you have low stats, go necro for her self rez and stay back, or ele and keep yourself shielded, stormed, and cloaked. Or.. take a Saarebas and just spam shield.. boring, but works.

Important, play conservatively. Open the doors you can, but leave the chests inside to your team mates. Don't go running off like a hero if you can't handle it. You can also play the roll of pot collector, smash the pots and get the gold while your team handles the dirty work. Playing on perilous you shouldn't need any elemental res pots unless you don't want to be trolled by an arcane horror (spirit). Keep rock armor with you for those times you need to rez a buddy, and, if you have low con, keep the healing mist and regen pots handy.

The best XP generator is (guess what) the Arcane Warrior.

The reason is he generates bonus xp by tanking with barrier on and inflicting tons of status effects like shocked/weakened.

The assassin is the worst I know of.

I'm not sure but I think the Avvar is the best xp generator among warriors because he also inflicts a lot of status effects.

Generally having more mages in a team is good for your exp

Chests: Yes, chest on higher difficulties are supposed to generate better items. I do not know how much better.

Best Mode: Really have to feel it yourself. Ya could get a calculator and deduce how much xp you averagely generate/minute. Personally I shy away from overall easy farming because I get horribly bored.

Get used to playing FC. The dragon weapons seem like they would be an upgrade for you across the board.

My advice:

Difficulty: Perilous

Map: Fereldan Castle

Mage: Arcane Warrior

Warrior: Avvar, Reaver

Rogue: Alchemist(really low-promote/gear friendly with stealth / fire flask/  frost flask / elemental mines. Thanks to "I was never here" you can be in stealth whenever you aren't invulnerable through frost flask or spamming mines with fire flask.

Spoiler

Idk about all that about the Avvar. Lego now generates LOTS of xp. Definitely the most out of warriors now. Out of all classes, idrk tbh. But he is definitely top 5

Thanks for the help.

Legi does generate lots of xp due to taunt, but you have to kill them before it wears off right?

Avar amazed me with how much xp i got in routine with a 80 kill combo!

I do have purple templar armor, but it feels a 'bit' lack luster and i seem to enjoy the game with other classes too.
Also what are some min promotion stats before i hit up NM? Obviously i will need gear, but atleast i can work on promoting a few classes while i work on the gear!

Gear is more important than promotions. 10/10/10 is fine if you play smart.

NM you probably want to have Dragon weapons or level 24's before playing DPS classes. Heal on Kill is essential as well.

Mages you can take into NM right off the bat. Just make sure your team has at least a couple players who can dish out DPS. Otherwise you're wasting your time and should just run Perilous instead.

I will not say names, but all Promotion Lords are aware of this... this guy did sorta 'baptize' us!

AW is still the best xp generator out of all the classes, but in general support classes (keeper, bard, elemental) with barrier abilities +aoe's generally do very well in xp output. Virtuouso is not difficult at all provided you remember some songs (power chord, little knight music, cool beats) and have them on hand, barrier note (hometown anthem) is already provided at level 1. OR you can be cheesy with saarebas who can provide a lot of Xp and fast leveling just by using sar tar shield (barrier) final stance provided your team has decent dps and keeps you away from harm.

If your looking to maximize xp with warriors as a beginner I'd go with lego and templar because shield wall dishes out 100+ xp per enemy on higher difficulties but at the cost of some stamina. Generating taunt (counterstrike, war cry, etc.) also deals a generous amount of xp as well.

Worst xp generator is asssassin by far due to her single target abilities and no team support xp abilities. Alchemist is a much better choice due to elemental mines and flask of frost shatter combos/team combos+ support xp.

Willpower: Saarebas (get that bonus exp off of those team Barriers.)
Cunning: Silent Sister (cuts through enemies like nobody's business and is cranky)
Constitution: Reaver (deals enough damage so nothing else really matters)

Warrior: Lego, max out on support and damage xp from taunt and attack everything
Mage: Saarebas, lots of combos for xp
Rogue (if you don't have 200 cunning): Silent Sister generates great xp
