Hello fellow inquisitors,

I started to play DA Inquisition about 3 weeks ago, and this is one of the best games I ever played on a Console ( Ps4 ).

This game is so much fun, every class looks cool and it is driving me crazy!

I have watched a dozen clips on youtube,  ... And decided to just keep playing my warrior until the credits roll on my screen.

But I was wondering somthing, since you can have 3 followers, do you guys just play the different classes while playing through your first playtrhough by using a follower ... or do you guys prefer to start a new game and make whatever class you wanna play as a main?

Just curious.

There comes points in the game where your abilities are sort of "set" for the moment and I usually get bored of using the same ability combinations on a large map and inquisition has some large maps. at that point I switch to a different party member to pilot them for a bit. I generally do not start new games with different inquisitors as I know the story already and getting through the first part of the game and building up abilities is time consuming and trying for me. the last patch offered new trials and new items so I did replay the game again with those on as there was incentive to do so.

This. What matters for me is what my character is. I play multiple times anyway.

I do make the class I want to play, especially the first go 'round. But during the combat I will sometimes switch to a follower to try out a different class. It's basically a free way to test whether I want to make something different in another play or stick with my main choice.

I was thinking to do the same thing, beceause like " caradoc2000 " says ,for me it only maters what my main charachter can.

I generally make a new character for every specialization that I want to try. It gives me time to try out different combos of spells and abilities to see which ones I like. I usually will switch to another party member if it makes it easier to play. For example. early on you're tasked with getting some ram meat. Much easier to do with a long ranged character instead of trying to run after them with my warrior.

Since the latest patch I've been having problems with the warrior party members getting stuck, especially Cassandra. They will just stand in one spot. If it happens I switch to them, jump or swing their weapon, and this breaks them out of their trance. Then I switch back to my main.

I get every available companion and play all of them for several combats and side quests during my first play-through. Think of it as research for follow-up play-throughs. For some of the longer battles, I'll make sure I spend some quality time with each party member (some might call that micro-management, tomato/tomahto).
