Lets just say I doubt this would get used in HB.
Hipsters....
I am thinking I should do a no dragon rage Reaver. Running around with a level 19 Reaver without dragon rage and everyone will think... WTF? Actually I really dislike the dragon rage animation. I think it is supposed to be dragon claw, but everytime I see it.. I think..."chicken claw". Then I will start thinking about dim sum and I get hungry....
my normal build for reaver is devour dragon rage rampage mb, its annoying to get knocked over and that generally happens v darkspawn rather than any other faction since pretty much every mook on the field knocks you over or staggers you .....
the reaver could do with something like charge or guard on hit because she doesn't kill fast enough (no lvl 25+ 2 h here) and the immunity ammy is probably about 3 months away given how slowly I get stuff out of chests .....

You need some combat roll in your life, my friend.

I think it looks like an Omni-tool. Maybe we can get some DA/ME crossover in ME:A???
Love the physical immunity amulet, allows for uninterrupted t-bagging.

Damn enemy DOTs....

You do more damage without Rampage. As soon as you hit something with Dragon Rage while Rampage is active, you are at full health, dealing significantly less damage.

Well done sir, well done.
What kind of promotion lord dies on a Reaver? Must have been playing a hipster build.
I have to deal enough with Pommel strike when playing Katari,so I'll just pass it with a Reaver.
Rampage,Dragon Rage,Devour and War horn is my favourite build for the iron lady.
If the dude is blocking with a Shield then yes you can hit him with devour again and again and again
Actually no, shield can block devour. That's what pommel strike and MB and basic attack are for though.
you have to read closely to the OP
Okay so I wouldn't recommend this unless you have a decent amount on constitution and a Physical Immunity Amulet (since you don't need combat roll
Totally this. Not viable without hundreds of promotes and the phys immune amulet, because you need to CR or get trolled. If you don't have enough promotes to survive being trolled, you simply die.
There's no recovery or CC abilities here whatsoever.

Individual hits, but total dps and killing speed is usually reduced because number of hits to kill isn't usually reduced due to overkill spillover and reduced attack / movement speed without rampage. It is also dicey for anyone without over at least a hundred promotes each and end-game gear. Players typically die on reaver as is with bad builds.
This is an unbalanced build that doesn't add any actual value. Heck, I'd rather take even earthshaking strike over devour at end-game gear / promotes. At least that hits multiple targets. Definitely Ring of Pain over Devour though.
-snip-
-Devour will have no cool down, but only hit with the first half of the animation, if it hits a shield
-Like I said, I wouldn't recommend without stats and gear
-I never claimed it was the best but that it is my favorite, just figured others would like to give it a go
Unbalanced? Maybe so but, as stated, I like it, and it works well once you get the hang of it. Just try it, I didn't like devour but I am digging it
I stand corrected the OP has 150 con
That will take me some time yet, what with all the random crashes to desktop nowadays. :/
I was lv.1 while using the negative health belt, and the sun hit my monitor at an odd angle!

LOL, preemptive screenshot for proof.

Already done, and why I can say for certain the build underperforms.
Well Ik you know what you talk about most of the time but everyone has different play style, this just happens to be one that is fun to me, and that is what I need to even play other wise I get bored. I just don't enjoy easy builds, I like a challenge which is why I play this, keep myself close to deathAlready done, and why I can say for certain the build underperforms.

Hahaha yah! For Rock it was almost like X-Max having both Bruh and I go down from the same crazy lightning dot.
The lightning damage can be insane. We were even under the effect of a lightning resist potion.
It's how Ik not to feel like I have horrible stats..when KMeeg goes down too from the same thingHahaha yah! For Rock it was almost like X-Max having both Bruh and I go down from the same crazy lightning dot.

Yes, because we all know how useful a basic attack is against a shield.
Did you even read this before you posted it? Half of Devour will hit through shields, and it won't cost stamina or a cooldown. You just don't get health back. This looks like you are claiming, once again, that an ability is bad before even understanding how it works. It's nice to see that some things never change. ![]()

I do about double the damage on average without Rampage. Killing things in one or two swings is much better than two to four swings with a slight attack speed buff.
Does Rampage even give a movement speed buff? I don't recall any such thing.
And as for speed from Rampage: I wear the Superb Belt of Urgency so when I am below half health I attack (and move) much faster so lots more DPS even without Rampage....as I said in the OPYes, because we all know how useful a basic attack is against a shield.

Devour just gets blocked unless they're already swinging, at which point I'd be dragon raging. I'd rather MB or PS and actually kill stuff. Show proof you do double actual damage, because I'm betting most of it is from fervor, and yes Rampage moves faster.
I can back up my claims with actual numbers. Dragon Rage will hit from 5-10k depending on fervor and other buffs, and enemies on perilous typically have 4-8k health, while NM is roughly double that at 8-16k with absolute higher end being 16-25k. Enemies go down in at most four swings, but typically one or two, the third hit being a double swing. The attack speed buff also stacks with other buffs, greatly increasing actual dps.
And as for speed from Rampage: I wear the Superb Belt of Urgency so when I am below half health I attack (and move) much faster so lots more DPS even without Rampage....as I said in the OP
I need to test that belt more in-depth. I don't seem to get a signifigant buff. Every time I've used that belt and even let my health go down, it doesn't give signifigant attack speed upgrade.
Urgency doesn't affect movement speed at all though.
Non-warhorn builds also suffer from gaining less exp due to lack of guaranteed panic on near-everyone, especially those outside immediate range of the reaver. While there's an exp cap, it is effectively improbable to reach outside of normal circumstances, especially if you're playing NM and above.
Yeah, no, devour still sucks and is for noobs. I do like MB on reaver, and I would use it if I had the amulet-- but no CR does not work without the amulet.
