So if I equip my reaver with my new dragon rage ring, immunity amulet and hakkon two hander I should be able to waltz through just about anything?

It's at that point that we will finally be able to determine the issue has been user input all along ![]()
I think he said you suck BeerfishIt's at that point that we will finally be able to determine the issue has been user input all along
And, Beerfish, I definitely recommend trying out this build if you have all the gear. The belt of Urgency may not seem important but it helps significantly. Let me know how you do!
Actually I did equip my reaver with that belt a while back. I just have not played her that much because I've been trying to finish some class challenges. Almost done those so i can take her out for a spin. Still don't know if i could play that class on nightmare though.

Having no excuses terrifies me.
Me carrying my bag of excuses:

Oh I have plenty good stats probably around 125 in each I think. My problem is the timing of the abilities to restock health. Perilous I can handle but am pretty sure I'd get overwhelmed in nightmare.
Definitely get use to it before attempting NM. Perilous is pretty much routine so it is boring, especially so with Reaver (this build even more so). What I did when first playing this build was pop a Devour as soon as I was in the red, my stats were alot lower at that time than they are now (250/260/200 now, was sub-200 in all when starting off). Once you get accustomed to it, and lots of health helps, you will be able to get to the point where you have a sliver of health left before using devour to put yourself at about half health. The damage is definitely worth it. You will start 1-2 shoting everything smaller than a boss (Commanders, Dragons, Giants, etc). It is so awesomeOh I have plenty good stats probably around 125 in each I think. My problem is the timing of the abilities to restock health. Hit me up when you get on, and I will see if we can iron out any kinks you have with the Reaver. ![]()

Dude, with Rampage and your stats, not only can you make it through Nightmare, you can pretty much stand out in the open on Nightmare (except if the bolters show up). My stats are roughly the same as yours (117 / 121 / 155), and I do it all the time. Just try it.
The only problem with Rampage is the low damage output. True, but without Rampage, my Reaver's health drops way too fast on Nightmare, and I'd therefore have to take cover and corner pull, which can slow down your damage output too. To me, it's more fun to go all Rambo out in the open. And if I'm not going down, I don't care that getting the kill takes a couple more seconds.

The problem with Urgency is waiting to be damaged. It takes too long. I want to kill stuff now! ![]()
Pretty much
just Dragon Rage and devour is really all you need. Does **** tons of damage
Pffffft. You don't need anything with high stats and PI. DR is optional, and Devour not necessary at all. If you cared about damage you might as well go RoP for even more damage bonus..
but the relative damage bonus of low health (and more importantly killing speed) is quite little much when fervor is taken into account.
Trying to actively redline is work. Its easier to combo and watch tv, like Silversmurf does.
Not hard at all to wait for low health. Just remove all HOK and dragon Rage. Do that 48 time on different enemies and you will be in the red. Super easy to do.The problem with Urgency is waiting to be damaged. It takes too long. I want to kill stuff now!

Not the only humble bragger in BSNHumble bragger...I will tea bag you if you face plant with this set-up.
So you would rather use Ring of Pain over Devour? Why? You do know that Ring of Pain doesn't actually buff your damage output at all, right?
Yeah, you're actually getting pretty trashy damage most of the time in the video. If you wanted max damage you might as well go RoP for the damage bonus.
The actual DPS is actually pretty low despite getting big numbers, and it doesn't even get the biggest numbers due to lack of RoP. i.e. You really should try out RoP in place of one of those abilities. It works best when you redline as well.
And this is how I can tell you have no idea what you are talking about. Ring of Pain does not work. No damage increase. Nice try though.

Maybe if you payed attention you would learn something. Maybe not. I don't know.
Why don't you both do what Snakebite said? Post some videos to back up the claims.
Ok, I am reviewing my recording and the majority of the video is of my Reaver dancing with Druffy (or exploding nugs)
Yeah, I don't think this ever happened either. Couldn't find your footage?

And the results speak for themselves.
Waiting is impossible, you know me better than that.
Wayyy too long to do. That takes a whole minute or two, by which time the zone is cleared. Also dragon rage is mandatory. I think you mean rampage, but you'll also lose out on movement speed. Lost movement speed --> lost time --> lost actual killing speed. Same for CR as an animation canceller.
LOL @ your 'results'. Yes, you earn a lot less exp / time with it due to lack of warhorn. Upon further examination of the exp system, everyone that hits the same enemy before it dies means more overall team exp (in addition to support xp), which means multiple warhorn users are further better for team exp farming due to the huge radius and hitting so many more enemies at once.
I've tested urgency belt, and the maximum bonus actually comes from having minimum health. At 40-50% health, the bonus is minimal to none. If I had barrier 100% of the time, I could maximize the damage, but with constant barrier I might as well being watching netflix.
as long as it revolves around life steal (devour/rampage/auto attack) and dragon rage than everything else becomes a matter of personal preference.
