Playing a male inquisitor and relationship was going well however something has gone wrong?i completed a personal quest for her (tracked down the real head of templars) and i encouraged her to rebuild them in a better way
Next dialogue option in courtyard seems to involve friendship only? All seem to dangerous for me to respond too and one even seems to imply tge inquisitor is frustrated with her

Did i make a mistake and is my approval rating too low to advance further. Google doesnt seem to indicate what to choose and it feels like a breakup

It is a while since I played the Cassandra romance but from what I recall, not every dialogue will have the option of the heart icon.   I think the Seeker Quest is one of those that does not since it is equally one you can do as a friend.    Have you had the scene where she is reading one of Varric's books yet?    That has a heart icon.    I believe I had to get her approval up a bit more before the romance proper triggered after the Seeker quest.   Have you completed the other one where you kill the renegade mages and Templars in the Exalted Plains (Gil'gannan's Grove), Emerald Graves, Hinterlands, Western Approach and one other place (I think there were 5 in all).   That actually counts as her personal quest more than the Seeker One I seem to recall and so romance will not trigger until you have done at least some of them.   That will also get your approval up as well, which could possibly be the real reason I needed them.

You don't need to kill the renegades mages and Templars unless you need approval.

 

To get the romance locking cutscene, you need to have her approval high enough, to have used the heart icons a few times and be far enough into the main storyline to trigger Promise of Destruction (which you did).

 

It might help if you showed us what was the dialog you are "stuck" at.
