Help!

 

I've been trying to open this bleeping gate all afternoon and it won't open.

I googled the solution and found 3 videos that show the solution but after watching them multiple times and getting the sequence down, it still won't open after hours of trying.

I've deleted the last save, replayed that section to see if I missed anything and after turning the gears in order and the right number of turns, nothing happens.

I've read the entire codex and there's nothing there as a hint. 

 

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I paid good money for a game I can never finish. WTF!

 

EDIT: Never mind. Seems the 200th try was the charm
