For the most part I didn't like the base game anyway so Trespasser actually greatly improved my outlook.

Wuttttt... I need to go stalk Patrick Weekes Twitter page more often because I never saw this. If that's the case, I wonder if our limb could've been saved after killing Coryfish, instead of Solas taking his sweet time to remove it, or if it was doomed as soon as it came into contact with the orb.

Also, I'm somewhat bitter that Solas promised to explain things after Corytits was dead, if he and the Inquisitor were still alive. >_>

And to the OP, Trespasser was amazing. It made the game feel more... real? It was awesome and yes, I even enjoyed seeing the tragic romance play out that is the Solavellan. If anything, I will play DAI more now, because it's cool to see everyone and what they've been up to. Ugh, I can't explain it. How about this instead? Trespasser was amazing because FEELINGS. I bought the other 2 dlc after playing it. It literally made me crave more Dragon Age which I didn't think I could become any more thirsty for. I was wrong.

As it happens, I'll headcanon that, because that's one less thing to bite me in the butt until Uthenera comes.

 

Maybe if the Orb wasn't destroyed, Solas would pick it up, remove the Mark, then tear down the Veil immediately. Inky keeps the arm, but, you know. Veil. Torn down... Hopefully in a fashion not as destructive as the Breach.

I agree with the OP, they should've packaged Tresspasser with more boobs and sexy lingerie. Can't f*p to this, it's just filled to the brim with story, lore content, companion & romance interaction and cliffhangers, laaaaaaame!

I always prefer a good, well written, thought provoking ending to a story to a happy but bland one, or a poorly conceived one. 

 

Trespasser was great - sure it had it's dismaying surprises but... if Bull turned on you, you've got only yourself to blame; you taught him that duty was more important than friendship, and let him remain Qunari. A Qunari has duty to the Qun, and thus when called upon to perform his duty, he did just what you'd argued him into earlier: choose duty over sentiment, and friendship. 

 

It was always clear to me that Solas wasn't ever revealing all his cards, that there was something that he kept hidden. The twist with Solas, while it may have stung, made me greatly look forward to DA4 - I want to see the story continue. 

 

Really liked trespasser. Hope the writing in DA4 continues at that level.

Can't deal with it, bloody can't. That damn Solas should have left you the option of letting it kill you. I would have opened a fade rift right inside of me.

Oh in the beginning, I felt so damn sorry for my friggin just devastated Lavellan that I wished that was an option. Like... Because of YOU, Solas, she was essentially taken away from her clan and her way of life, thrust into this crazy arse shemlen qunari elven dwarven crazy town and goes through allllllll this nonsense, falls in love with you and you show you're super into her but hold yourself back and she has no clue why, if that was me I would think something was wrong with ME, then she rises to a super power, in wealth, only to save the world and then everyone she's gotten attached to basically dips out to do their own thing and she's just sitting there alone like... Well... ******. I mean except for Sera, who is down right adamant that she is not going anywhere, and so RED FRIGGIN JENNY. (so happy they included that, that's cool stuff) And then Solas shows up again to remind you he's fine and has plans blah blah blah, meanwhile you're just ready to die at that point because he leaves again. So now not only do you basically mourn again but you get to do it without a left hand this time, just to make it more tragic. *throws self off cliff* I mean at least theres a pretty castle and nice serene scenery.

Anyway I'm past all that now and have basically moved onto choosing the angry options because his sad face delights me. Hahaha. Dudebro deserves it. I love that turd.
