Well the Inquisitor states she's going after Solas, so she's definitely going to be involved in some way!

Some people think there are going to be duel protagonists in the next game, which sounds like a cool idea to me!

I liked.

About DA4.

Inquisitor: Solas know everything about us how we work, we will find people he don't.

So new protagonist for sure.

I am thinking two protagonists ala Andraste and Shartan with two antagonists as well ala Maferath and Hessarian.

If the Inquisitor is one of the protagonists, we need a master tactician on our side or we can just trust the decisions we made in previous games.

So far, all protagonists and antagonists are on the board game.  It all depends really on how you played the games individually.

It will be exciting on how the Devs will present this in-game.  I really would like to start at level 28 next game to feel like I am progressing, just like we carry the decisions we made previously.

Then for DA5 is where we make a Golden or Black City or In-Between(if possible).

Great times for RPGs!

My thoughts are I really liked this dlc. Fitting ending to an epic game. Could it have been better? Sure, but the positives so outweighed the negatives. I'd have liked an option, while meeting with Solas, to have committed suicide by having the Mark open a Fade Rift inside my body, destroying the Mark so that Solas can't use it. That would have been cool.

Worth it I would say. Like the game overall I have far too many criticisms to be able to call it a fantastic experience, even though I fancy myself a bit of a fanboy of the series.

I enjoyed it in itself and felt it tied decently into the rest of the game. I have a few things I dislike such as time skips in general, but in this case it kinda works better than it did in DA2.

I also felt like the Qunari involvement came a bit too suddenly, I didn't necessarily need them in the base game as such, but subtle hints in this direction would have been nice to make it seem like something that had been brewing for a while culminated.

There wasn't as much companion interaction as I would like, but more than the basegame so that was an improvement for me.

Finally I would have liked a "f u guys" option, even if it would have a "suicide mission ending" ala Mass Effect 2 result. Some of my Inquisitors would never be satisfied with disbanding or becomign a chantry tool and just dare the nations to attack Skyhold. The Inquisitor has killed armies and has no reason to fear either Ferelden or Orlais unless they banded together, which they would not.

At the very least I would have liked to be able to sign a defensive alliance with either nation at the expense of relations with the other.

I liked it,
My issues with it were minor.
But I really don't see Inqy being the protag next game.
Figurehead? Advisor? Maybe, if that.

Loved it, It has made me want to run though the game all over again to experience the game in its entirety. As for the next PC, I'm hoping Bioware give us that choice. A new PC or continue as the Inquisitor.

So, a Wolf hunt after all. Yip. I'm down. I haven't heard anything about dual protagonists. Who is saying that? Fan speculation?

This is off topic but has anyone heard anything about BioWare's secret ip? Just curious.

*whispers* I'm secretly hoping this secret ip is actually the next Dragon Age and it's all hush hush and secret-like because they want Mass Effect to have its proper hype and what not first. Wheeeey, hopes and dreams!

I really liked the dlc wish it had a better ending for my inqusitior :( but hey might get a happy ending. Next protag would love to have the inqusitior again I think the story would be better then a new hero, I don't think a new hero would have the same incentive to save/redeem solas. Hopefully we will have some choice in either a new one or the inqusitior again.

My main is a 2h warrior, so I don't think that's going to happen. In fact every Inquisitors apart from Mage Inquisitors are completely buggered.

Nah. Dw rogues are gonna have problems but everyone else could probably manage with a normal prosthetic. It is the nondominant hand after all. It's also possible for the inquisitor to get a magicey dwarfey arm, which would work for everyone.

You know how Cullen doesn't really do anything except stand around the war table in DA:I?    My guess is that will be the Inquisitor next game.    Will be the next protagonists mentor/guide/boss that directs the flow of the narrative.

Excellent.

Was actually expecting this kind of quests when DA:I initially came out. But hey, hopefully DA4 would be better.

I loved it.  I'm one of those rare folks on this board who actually really loved DAI and had it as their favourite in the trilogy, but my one serious problem with it was the ending/battle with Corypheus.  I felt that Trespasser gave it a much more satisfying ending.

I think they removed the Inquisitor's hand specifically to drive the point home that there will be a new protagonist - that and the comment about finding new people.  They had toyed with the idea of making Hawke a character like Shepard, but abandoned it.  Since then, Thedas itself has been the main character of Dragon Age all along, and I'm fine with that.  Besides, I like making a new character fresh each game :)

Yeah, it's all fan speculation at the moment, Bioware haven't announced anything yet. They have mentioned in the past that they thought the idea of doing such a thing was interesting though! :)

I thought the Exalted Council was BS. Not the idea, the execution. I saved the rulers of both Ferelden and Orlais, surely that should get me a little gratitude. Hell, the Wardens got an entire arling when they stopped the Blight! I expected to be able to work the problem like the Landsmeet or Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts, but nope, it's just there to force a downsizing or disbandment of the Inquisiton even if that doesn't make sense.

I thought the Viddasala was a terrible villain. I had an alliance with the Qun and was Bas-alit-an; no recognition of that. I, with the help of only my inner circle, completely destroyed her operations; no recognition of that. She was using illegal tactics (feeding lyrium to saarebases, producing her own gaatlok), and was probably acting without the sanction of the Triumvirate; no opportunity to call her on any of that. I didn't even get the satisfaction of killing her myself.

I thought Iron Bull's betrayal was poorly explained. I believe there should have been an option to convince him to side with you even if he's still loyal to the Qun. If not, there should have been at least a more in depth fight with him; the opportunity to duel him one on one, an actual conversation, something. Basically the DA2 Arishok battle, but with Bull and the Inquisitor.

I was really, really happy with how the conversation with Solas went. This was the sort of thing I wanted from Witch Hunt years ago; recognition of our friendship or lack thereof, some actual answers, and enough foreshadowing to make his inevitable return interesting. It was great.

I liked most of the interactions with companions (especially Varric and Sera, thanks for making me a Comte and a Jenny). I thought the payoff of making Cole more human was disappointing (so he's got a girlfriend, so what), didn't get why only Sera and Cullen can be married (Cassandra's even expecting a proposal), and that there's no content for a Chargers sacrificed Bull was dumb.

Overall, it was good but not great.

I think Trespasser was poorly written, too short, and not fun to play.

You write "In fact every Inquisitors apart from Mage Inquisitors are completely buggered"

This is the guy who have no arm and can dual-wield.

Maybe we will be working directly for the now out of action inquisitor.

I loved Trespasser.... Damn you Solas though! Lavellan loves you...

What I hated: how you know it will be years before getting any closure.
