I'm in Haven.
I farmed some Fade Touched Obsidian, but I cannot use it in Haven. (it's not listed as an available metal when I'm at the blacksmith, of course I see it in the inventory). So here's my question:
Other than Skyhold is there someplace else I can use Fade Touched materials?
Making masterworks is only unlocked after Skyhold/Dagna.

As the previous poster has said, you need to get to Skyhold.
Upon arrriving, head to the War Table and have Arcanist Dagna be hired for The Inquisition. Speak to her in the Undercroft.
If you have previous characters. You can use the golden nug to get high level schematics. Even at low level running around in T3 armor is just as good if not better then using fade-touched.
