I was in the Hinterlands.
As a Mage, I hid behind some rocks over by the tower/water so the dragon couldn't attack/see me. I targeted the dragon (Get the outline thing around it).
Used Barrage.
It took a long, long, long, long, loooooooooonnnnnnnngggg time, but it worked. Now I have that area clear and I'm farming the chests.
What you was hiding behind a rock?
And get right up in its grill, Iron Bull would so disapprove.

Can't remember it was January since i did that play thought and i have slept since them. I think i was around 13 - 14 at the time i took down the Hinterlands dragon.

yeah I usually wait till lI'm about there before taking on the first dragon. I don't always take all the dragons on though but I did in my last run except for the Atashi Dragon in the Trespasser DLC which I freed.
