How much of a dent will Zevran have put in the Crows by DA4? Since he's been whittling away at them for over a decade and all. Based on seemingly conflicting information in WoT2 and various codex entries, I can't really tell if he's trying to annihilate the Crows or assume leadership and reform them. In any case, doesn't Ignacio say that they took the contract on the Warden's life because they believed Loghain could unite Ferelden against the Blight, if only his enemies were... indisposed? wut r they doin. wat is their deal.

Is Antiva completely screwed without the Crows if the conflict in DA4 bleeds into the rest of Thedas?

This is all pure speculation obvs, since we know next to nothing about the next game. Including whether or not it's greenlit.

So, yeah. Any chance they'll get any hint of relevance in DA4 or is Zevran relegated to the backseat yet again?

I think he's reforming them, getting rid of the old guard. He's been recruiting similarly disenfranchised Crows like him. Over a decade assassinating assassins have honed his skills to perfection. They will be reduced in numbers but will be extremely formidable. It's quality over quantity, kind of like the decommissioned Inquisition.

(I disbanded in order to help redeem Solas)

I think Zevran was rather trying to kill the crows and begin a new order, seizing of them would require a high rank among them or a friend with such rank among them.

Also, no, killing the Crows wouldn't mean that Antiva would be harmless, their methods could survive, people there is already familiar to them and they may have learned one of two tricks from them, it seems that they are cunning, Josephine for example, she could have been a good bard if she wouldn't have a high moral, The Qunari weren't kicked out only by crows either, when they tried to attack the city had to deal with certain Witch and her Dragon, since she has more hostile visitors than her mother and has to protect a temple, if she also had the guts to get out of the Swamps to kick some Qunari arses, she likely has a back up plan.

Well if the Warden is romancing Zevran and takes the ultimate sacrifice, then the epilogue screen says that he ultimately does take over the Crows.    I did a War Table mission when we were going after some Antivan noble and the crows offered to work with us, then Zevran stepped in and offered to work for us instead.   So at that point he was still messing with them and we had to smuggle him out of the area after he had taken their mark, so clearly he's not in a position to take over just yet.

Mind you, in another of my play throughs he is off in the west reunited with my Warden, so given the variables, including the possibility that he may already be dead, I don't think they'll ever have him actually taking the Crows over, just continuing as a free agent.
