Pre-EC, I went Destroy, and was absolutely furious. Did not do a playthu to the endings again until MEHEM. Have not touched an official ending since.
What ending did you choose and why

First time Synthesis because it compels me....
After that Destroy because I'm pretty convinced that things aren't over yet. A story may have ended, but I need to be ready for the next story to come.

Haven't played in ages, but I'm in the process of resetting up my 360. From here on out, whenever I chose, I will pick the reject ending.

Refusal. Every time. We spent 3 games being told about how incredibly out of our league we were fighting against the Reapers. Then we get the Crucible which was developed over several cycles yet...no one knows what it does (I've never understood how that works. It's like trying to build a computer one piece at a time without ever having seen a computer before nor knowing what it will be in the end). Then while the incredibly epic fleet we've marshalled is getting wrecked by the Reapers, we get to push a button that wipes them out, takes control of them all, or blends all organics and synthetics. I call bs. It felt really good having ME3 tell me how totally screwed we were the entire time, and then actually being totally screwed in the end. Besides, all our efforts did end up stopping the Reapers in the end anyway. Good times.

I just read the books and the synthesis ending seems even worse now - makes me think of Grayson.

It would be best to destroy them but I didn't want to lose the geth, so I did the control ending. The synthesis ending was the most unethical ending though, because it destroys all life, which is even worse than destroying synthetics. The additional choice of refusal was such a joke.

I can understand this.
Also.... If the rumours about MEA are correct and humanity and the other races have legged it to andromeda (ark theory), it could be none of the choices are correct bar refusal.
I still want to destroy the reapers though.
