He's everywhere!
Also, I saw him on a few episodes of Hawaii Five-O. Which made it much better to watch/listen to.

Hawaii Five-O you say?!
Gideon actually landed the male Crusader in Reaper of Souls, so you can hear him throughout the entire game now if you choose. If you played Diablo 3, G.E. does a few voices in there. The Captain being one of them. But there is a random NPC who he voices as well.

And CSI, NCIS and 24 too.
Isn't the best copy I could find, since there is bit talk with Kirk and Sulu before the jump, but Engineer Olsen, the red shirt, is Greg.
Right! How could I forget about that?
Thanks for the contribution. Silly Engineer Cullen.
Cullen is actually terrible and looks like he has just snorted some cocaine at all times.
Remember, kids: Don't do drugs. Or elfroot.
I wonder if Thedas has some rehab center?

Isn't Blood Lotus the hallucinogenic drug?
My pleasure. I just rewatched it recently and it's weird hearing his voice and matching it.
Kind of like Raphael Sbarge. Seen him in ID4 as one of the air force control room officers, in Pearl Harbor as an aide, and Once Upon a Time, and the playing KotOR or Mass Effect. My head tends to explode.
Yeah, it's always weird to hear people you mostly know from games. Actually now that you mention it, Raphael Sbarge was also in a Hawaii Five-O episode... with a Boston accent. It made me double-take
Saw him on the Mentalist, too.
I really wish Cullen would open the rehab center together with the Inquisitor after they got married. It's important, it's needed. Do good you guys!
Yeah, seriously. Why doesn't this happen? Not that I put too much stock into ending slides anyway, but it seems kind of out-of-character for Cullen not to help all of the Templars just because he's married.
Unless... the Inquisitor took the Templar specialization!
That would keep his hands full
That would be really hard for Cullen to watch, geez ![]()
Also the Inquisitor is a giant hypocrite ![]()

That reminds me of him in Justice League Unlimited, where he played Dead Man, who has a pronounced Boston accent. I could barely tell it was him. He was in Castle last season (as Bigfoot iirc) and so was Ali Hillis which was REALLY weird since I think I've seen her only once outside of voice work and it was a short interview about Liara.
Of course, I've been playing six degrees of voice work for ages now. I know some people haven't played the BG series (though you should do so NOW. Yes, NOW!), so they're not going to get this but it's strange to consider things like Anomen from BG2 being voiced by the same actor who did Wacko Warner in Animaniacs. Or that Jen Hale's been doing voice work since the entire concept hit computer gaming (first voice I heard her as was in QfG 4). And then there's Gao the Lesser. When I found out that was Nathan Fillion I fell over (Nathan for Andromeda please?).
To sum up before I get carried away, whatever other issues anyone has with Bioware, I don't think anyone can really fault their voice casting in the games, or voice direction. It's pretty damn top notch. (Another plea for Nathan in Andromeda, please?)
I haven't slept, I'm being silly.
If you have never play Kingdoms of Amalur, I would heartily recommend it
Ah, having enlightening conversations regarding "don't know how you can stand pants" ... in the middle of the woods... with some suspicious "man" ![]()

I actually have some problems with their voice-over direction, since most of the time it seems like it isn't there at all. ANYWAY, Haha yes please! I love hearing him in Halo. I'd also like to see good old Nolan North, and Liam Neeson. And some others I'm forgetting. Also, more crossing over between DA and ME.

Let's see:
"Do not try to get out of this. We were told you were the best. That is why you were contracted. Was it not you who obtained the two hundred white blooming rose bushes for the Empress's winter ball last year? The comtesse has been infinitely patient 'til now, but she doesn't understand why it is so hard to fill the garden pool. She wants no more excuses. And no, she will not compromise with the dawn lotuses. They're white! The flowers have to match the silk canopies. It is crucial! Dark purple. Dark red. Do not try to frame this as a safety issue. The guests will be perfectly safe. Why, if they experience any hallucinations from the concentration of lotus essence in the air, I'm certain it will only make the evening more thrilling.
I don't care if you have to send someone to some Fereldan peat bog to get it all. Just do it!
—A note from Chamberlain Laurent to Grand Gardener Umbert Vauclain, over the decorations for Comtesse d'Arnee's summer garden party
According to gossip in Val Royeaux, the chamberlain did succeed in convincing Grand Gardener Vauclain to provide four hundred and twenty lotus plants. The party was considered by most to be a roaring success, even though the evening concluded with at least twelve guests asleep on the lawn, three in the pool, and one lady losing several teeth trying to take a bite out of a marble statue of the comtesse's father, which she was convinced was made of cake."
So yes. So does Lunatic's Deathroot, but it seems that it causes violent hallucinations.
"Lunatic's Deathroot is most closely associated with the story of the courtesan Melusine, who sought revenge on a powerful magister and his family. She harvested the plant, baked it into small pies for the magister's banquet, and presented them to the magister at a banquet. All the guests were seized by terrifying hallucinations after eating the pies and tore each other to pieces."

Ah, I knew it was one the lotus plants. Still it is tempting to the think the same of elfroot.

Ouch... ![]()
I have trouble seeing the lack, but shrug...
This made me look up and see if Nolan North was in the cast and made two interesting discoveries: Cabot is voiced by Mark Meer, and we now have a Agents of Shield connection with Nick Blood (Lance Hunter) did voices.
Well, I don't want to derail this thread, because it's fun, so I'll just say that they have great casting, and thankfully, the VAs themselves are usually so good they do well without direction.
I knew those two! Yay!
It would be awesome if Clark Gregg (Coulson) voiced someone. Meer also does a couple other dwarves, but he's so good at Cabot you can barely tell it's him! The MP Alchemist (and some NPCs) is voiced by Meer's wife, who voiced Rana Thanoptis in ME.
I really wish Cullen would open the rehab center together with the Inquisitor after they got married. It's important, it's needed. Do good you guys!
No!
F*ck the people, i want my inqui and Cullen livin' la vida loca.

I did not know that! ^u^ I hardly noticed (I guess that means they were so good in acting out the characters).
I hope BW continues to cast great VA in their games (so far, they have!) As video games go more for the cinematic experience, I find good acting important to the immersion.

Me too, and I especially hope all of our protagonists have great VAs. I've really loved what we've gotten so far. Jennifer Hale, Mark Meer, Jo Wyatt, Nicholas Boulton, and Sumalee Montano have all done great jobs in my opinion (haven't heard much of the rest). Though now I have been spoiled by being able to choose between two voices ![]()
I wish Cullen and the lady Inquisitor spent more time in her quarters. I mean... why would Cullen sleep naked under a broken roof with a chilly breeze coming in? His lady love could keep him warm and toasty in her big fancy room, that has a fireplace and a king sized bed ![]()
